Yeah I'll see what TTK is like after a month it's been out then consider purchasing it. I'd look forward to new loot. I just don't want all the time I've spent to be for nothing.
-
i hear it does suck, atleast exotics will remain good
-
Where does it say you lose your weapons? The only places you can't use them is iron banner, trials, and high level endgame. For everything else they'll work just as they always did.
-
That being said. There is a good amount of people who are not pvp players.
-
Ok then the only things they can't use them on will be the new raid and the nightfall. Patrols, strikes, old raids and PoE are still year 1 weapon friendly.
-
So your saying they should keep them for obsolete content.... since they are reconstructing patrol also.
-
No point in doing year 1 content such as raids because you won't get something you can use. All legendary raid weapons are obsolete ant exotic u probably already have. It will only be done for fun that's it. Anyone who has pretty much finish year 1 content has no reason to look back

What the -blam!- are you playing this game for if you're not playing to have fun? That's what games are for, if you're not having fun leave. And you're still excluding strikes and patrols, which people are actually probably gonna be doing more of after TTK comes out. Plus PoE just for fun as well. Them there's the possibility of Easter eggs or other Incentives to get us to go back to old areas and patrol. The old raids could offer bonus an automatic exotic for all we know. They've barely told us anything, but everyone's just butthurt because they can't use Fatebringer in the new endgame for the 3rd time.
-
Who the -blam!- told you I'm not having fun. I don't even use fatebringer but I would still like to use other guns. Aside from that yeah you can always go back and redo year one for fun. The point I was trying to make was there is no reason to keep any old guns and if you do its only gonna take up space. Regardless the point was they should make new guns that are awsome and good like the vanilla destiny and let the player choose which gun they want to use. If they want to use fatebringer all 10 -blam!-en years then let them. What should matter is what guns you use not what other use.
-
Tell that to the people who required g-horn for raids

Obsolete? I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah they're remaking patrols, but they're not changing every enemy on every planet to meet the new level cap. People will still be going to earth to get 100 headshots. New players will need to run the old raids to understand how the raids in destiny work. And strikes and being revamped as well, so I don't see how any of it will be obsolete just because there's a new location.
