I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

Nice b8, m8, not many people care (me included) Absolute low quality b8, you could've done better. Also nice spelling on the tags.
-
Id be happy to level up from 20 to 40. 34 to 40 just doesnt sound fun
-
Doesn't matter too much to me, I do feel like they would just put whatever light level your character is to the new experience level but who knows.
-
Don't care!
-
Damn you straight baby gurl
-
what if everyone starts at 1, but your subclasses stays the way it was
-
Your post is wrong. You will not fall back to 20. If you had read the game informer article you would've seen this. Not to mention it's all over the forums. Can you imagine the reaction of players if they told them, I know you worked hard to reach the level cap, but because we're dropping light levels you're going to have to take it in the pants and start at level 20? Not gonna happen. But great post.

I'm just pretty mad the levels we were rewarded mote of lights for are pointless. I guess we'd all be max level if they made that xp over 20 count but still. Idk about you guys but it seems more and more like we literally paid to play a beta of this game...
-
We have always been a 20. We never left level 20. Our light level left 20. We will still be able to use all of our current gear as the only requirement is to be 20+ we simply will be leveling past 20 with actual levels this time around.
-
Ok...... people whatever level you are when ttk comes out will be you're new level 34s will remain 34s
-
I'm so excited to have that old noob feel again

Edited by beastbread: 8/6/2015 3:51:42 AMI'm not getting the taken King. Unless they develop some kind of veterans edition where the day one players get the expansion and all the collectors edition goodies instead of having to pay 80$ for shit we already own.
-
I'm taking it this is your first progression type game? New gear comes and replaces the old. Rinse and repeat. Your crucible guns and armor will still be just as viable.
-
Hard work like 34 wasn't attainable the first week with ease
-
I think it's awesome I can choose whatever armor I want without worrying about light levels.
-
You will be at 34 and level accordingly.
-
This is how MMOs work. New content makes old gear obsolete. This is just the first true injection of major content in the game's history, a lot of console players wont be used to it.
-
I highly doubt were returning to 20, but either way you play a game that is entirely built on grinding. Complaining about the grind is pointless. Play or don't. No one cares but you.
-
I'm used to it. I play real MMOs all the time. I'm used to it. I just want to be a Sith Lord, already.
-
I'm a level 93 total so I really don't care cause it's not that hard to level up
-

What will bungie do with all the excess etheric light I have (50ish), do I get to purchase things with them? Will they just remove them from my vault like the sneaky ninjas they are? Will they mind wipe me like men in black?
-
Edited by thearchaic1: 8/6/2015 2:08:16 AMYou get a mote of light every time you level up over twenty. I am technically level 183 on my Titan. Not a problem.
-
I'm level 66 on my warlock and level 71 on my hunter so I don't think I'll be starting at 20
-
Ha! People still play Destiny?
-
Bungie never said we are losing level 34 and going to 20.
