I know some of you arent smart enough to have spotted this implication, but basically, light levels are being done away with, and normal leveling will resume, this means, you will lose that 34, and start again at twenty when the new dlc releases.
So whats your reaction to that, and the fact all that hard work for gear to level up islost?
Im suspecting that is your face above considering you just figured it out.

Oh man, i forgot about this glory.

Bro Bungie/DeeJ said if you are at 34 you will start at 34

Edited by MYSQUADJUST: 8/17/2015 1:36:39 PMDeej and Luke smith both confirmed you'll be starting at whatever level, light or not, you were before TTK drops. They specifically said if you're a 32 then you'll start at 32 and if you're 34 you'll be 34. Do some research.

Man, you guys will eat rotten food wont you, even if its been sitting in the sun for six damn days. *claps*

"Twnety" I can't take such an illiterate -blam!- seriously...

youre a dumbass
-
You an an idiot they are not dropping everyone's levels.. you will just start at the level you are in ttk. if you started a fresh toon you would have to level it all the way, but not a current toon already made at max level.
-
Nice disinfo. Reported.
-
Bears, Beets, Battlestar Galactica.

No DeeJ said we will start at whatever light level you are at now in TTK. So if you are 26 now you will be I TTK. If you are 34 you will be in TTK. And if you start a new character you can use an exp boost provided to everyone to start at the level required to play TTK
-
Bungie said if you were 34 when ttk comes out you will remain 34 in xp lvl
-
I don't really care since I'll be playing better games. ~TheGreatJanoski

Better than staying on one level for so long plus it would be easier for most of us
-

Actually, you'll be level 34 (or your highest level attained). On all 3 characters. As well as you'll have a consumable to boost one new character (even a level 1) up to the required level to start TTK instantly. And now that you realize this, you also realize that TTK will only span you 6 levels. And you now realize you feel sad.

Edited by THE POPE711: 8/11/2015 12:59:41 PMno we start at 34 you dip shit
-
No. Whats going to happen is, your character will stay the highest level "It has achieved". So if your character has been level 34 once, she/he will be 34 in the taken king. Attack and defense are going to matter a lot more now.
-
I have a feeling there's gonna be 2 lvls on each mission the recommended hard level (1-40) and recommended light lvl (depends on gear and weapons)
-
When light levels are done away with you will be sat at the highest light level you achieved in year 1.
-
even if i do go back down to 20, i won't really care. Our light will still be the same, and it will be fun to have 20 levels to level up rather than 6.

Light level sucks
-
I don't mind it at all. I hated light level. Relying on rng on vanilla destiny to even hit level 30 sucked. Being a forever 29 also sucked haha
-
I kinda hope this happens. I don't want to reach max level right away.
