What's funny is Crybabies actually believe they will be using fatebringers for 10 years. How dumb are you people? If you could ascend old ass gear this game would be so boring and the armor and weapons that come out would be pointless, basically like 90% of this game would be obsolete.

Why not?? it's by far the best hand cannon for PvE, been a year and what new goodies have they gave us to replace the almighty fatebringer? Word of Crota?? Nope.., the Jewel of Osiris?? Destiny as a franchise is set for a 10 year life cycle. Bungie announced long ago characters would carry over across each new game.
