If you are a day 1 player you will understand his Rant.
So many times we grind and delete characters to get VOG gear to hit max light, then Crota came, same story different raid. Which was a joke, the raid felt more like a extended strike.
Then they just give away max light for HOW after the fact everyone grinds to finally hit max light. It seems like Bungie doesn't know where it's going with this game. They Just keep on disappointing us the fans.

No if you read game informers article you can be level 40 with anything on only damage and armor matter now. They just won't be AS POWERFUL.
-
People complained about staying level 29 you moron, you know nothing about being a day one player.
-
30 was max light You are truly a troll.... Keep on trolling sir....

If you dont know what ''Forever 29'' means, you aren't a day one player.

I'm a day one and I disagree with you.
-
Same here i disagree with you

Day 0 player here and I dont see his point , I have been playing since the alpha and dont see a reason as to why they should not changed how the game is now better yet improve the game and make it more enjoyable.

Day 1 player here. If you are a true day 1 player you would also know the struggles of the forever 29 days when you couldnt get that once piece of vog gear you needed to get to level 30.. i busted my ass to get to level 30 and it took a long time. Then crotas end came out.. the first raid i did i got a gally and 2 pieces of armour.. within 2 week i was lvl 32 on 2 accounts.. it was far to easy and it killed the content for me really quickly. HoW gets released.. people had a lvl 34 account within 1 - 2 days.. max level in a day or 2 was just stupid.. PoE is dead. TTK comes out we get reset to lvl 20 and need to level up from Xp to level 40 (so ive been told) this will take some time and i think its a good idea. Bungie are looking at new ways to improve the game and one of those ways for me personally is not making it super easy to become max level. Having to level up through xp means we need to be doing strikes patrols and bounties raids and what ever else they will have install meaning along the way will be a lot of engrams and new weapons to discover new armour and we are going to need to level up our new subclasses as well. Personally im pumped about it.. the game needs a fresh change and i think this is the right thing to do.

As long as they incorporate OPTIONAL matchmaking for all modes I'm all in. The tweet and IGN wording worries me a bit about not being able to level up unless you do X, which probably means 3 or more people.

Edited by HuckleberyFN2187: 8/4/2015 9:44:39 PMNobody told you to grind and delete another character. I'm looking forward to all the changes. Who wants to use the the same stuff for the length of the game?

Haha this whole game is a Grind.... If you wanted to to be relevant in the game when VOG was first out, You definitely had grind out the raids.. Where else were you gong to get max light? New weapons?? So far have they have been almost all completely sh!t, what's your go to weapons in PvE? fatebringer and VOC and Ghally... After two DLC's everyone is still using VOG weapons.. So until they actually make some decent weapons I'll stick with my Fatebringer..

Nice generalization there buddy. I had the game on Day 1. I was expecting vanilla items to become irrelevant for end game activities in TDB. Which to an extent they were. Then, Bungie screwed the pouch and allowed for etheric light to ascend that stuff to handle HoW activities. It was a step in the wrong direction and lazy design to placate the player base. By now all of the vanilla gear should be completely worthless for any of HoW's activities. I welcome this and hope they have some new fun powerful toys for us to enjoy.

Exactly. They've no idea what they're doing. Screw us over and show us new weapons and armor with bright colours to make us throw money.
