NO... NO.. NO.. Bungie has not said that our Year One gear will be useless the day Taken King is released. What has been conveyed SO FAR is that Year One gear WILL NOT progress in power.. There is still a good deal of information that has yet to be released or published, so before you pull a knee-jerk reaction, wait until we know more of the transition from the Base game /TDB DLC /HoW DLC into TTK. Heck - even Cozmo has posted a few replies telling people to hold off dismantling any of our gear until we hear more from Bungie..
