The Voidsummoner: Is a nickname I gave to a Voidwalker capable of unleashing grenades FASTER than most Sunsingers in Radiance! Scatterhorn EVERYWHERE haha (Scatter Grenade + Nothing Manacles). But how?!
It's all thanks to u/MalevolentFish for showing me how underrated Song of Flame is on Reddit.
The Video above breaks down charge times, setups, and the potential of these pairings, including Striker Titans that can BLIND enemies with an armada of grenades, over and over and over. A Voidwalker can throw a grenade ever 1.75 seconds under the effects of Energy Drain when paired with a Praxic Fire / Song of Flame Sunsinger.
It's incredibly fun, I highly recommend you try it :) Hope you love it. Remember, don't knock it till you try it! Yes, I know Fireborn is amazing, but think of how long you hold onto that super, never using it throughout activities. Try it out in normal strikes if you don't wanna give it up during PoE / Raids / Nightfalls.
I originally called this Voidsinging, but stuck with Voidsummoner.
Thank You for your time :) hope you enjoyed!
EDIT: Very, very happy with the feedback :')
This video took about 12 hours to edit. I always do my best for every upload. No Engram Openings / trailer uploads. Originality is what I aim for. Thank you for your time, have a great time Sun Singing!
In Preparation for Taken King, here's a Crash Course breakdown of weapon mechanics so you can figure out what New Perks to aim for in the Expansion: Accuracy / Stability / Aim Assist / Target Acquisition / Hitscan / Recoil (Directional and Muzzle Climb): https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/148441277/0/0

Awesome!

Edited by Ethozz: 8/5/2015 9:04:12 PMIt all depends on if you have a team that knows how to use that play style. If I run a 6 man team that knows how to play off of it then a lot of the times I'll use it but if I'm playing with randoms or people that don't know how to play off of it then I'll stick to self rez

This is amazing. I always loved using SoF, but no one took advantage of it. That made me switch to different perks.
-
Bbbbbbbbbbruh
-
My buddy and I ran a song of flame lighting grenade build and you can hold down like half a map per radiance
-
Bump for later.

I almost always run SoF, I like to support my team! Even when they dont realize it! :) that or Apotheosis with Radiant Skin for those sticky situations.
-
I used song of flame in the nightfall this week when we got to sepiks. After the gjallahorn barrage was over I activated radiance, while using the praxic fire too, and we destroyed him with nades. Too bad we didn't have a void walker warlock wigh the manacles though

Edited by BlueMercenary: 8/5/2015 8:08:36 PMI always use song of flame, only problem with it is that playing with randoms who don't realize they have the buff makes it kind if a waste. I still run it just for the few that actually do realize it. I tend to switch to fireborn during the last boss fight in a nightfall

Edited by HeyWait: 8/5/2015 8:23:38 PMThank you very much for that info. Gonna use that in the future

I know it won't be as fast, but imagine this with a titan with lightning or flashbang grenades...
-
I run song of flame.
-
Niiiiice. Gonna try this out. Hopefully telling randoms on a team what to expect will help them understand...assuming they use a mic. I rarely use sunsinger anymore, but that's about to change.

Just when I didn't think it possible to love my Warlock any more than I already do this comes along!
-
I can only imagine this will the void fire wall grenade for the new Hunter subclass
-
Nice video reply for later
-
Wipe protection > then short burst of grenade damage
-
That's just awesome.

I don't know about other warlocks, but if I'm not doing end game content then I'm going to be running as a void walker anyways and if I am doing endgame content it seems pretty obvious to me that fire born is way more useful than an extra couple of grenades. I could see how it would be more useful to run this way in pvp, I've never understood why warlocks have self res on in pvp, it makes no sense. Ok I can see how it might help for trials to be able to self res but for normal crucible, you should be using your super to maximum effect, choosing where and when you pop super is a big part of that, if you're waiting until someone has killed you to pop your super? Well let's just say that doesn't seem optimal to me.

Bump for layer

Trials grenades for days :/
