So word on the street is that current legendary gear will be obsolete once Taken King drops. Yet the Taken King Legendary Edition comes with the first 2 expansions and vanilla Destiny? Unless I'm missing something behind the scenes here, there's really little point to buy the Legendary Edition for new players? Really the only reason would be for mythoclast, nechrochasm, and the HoW exotics. Seems like a waste to throw away the 2 raids and the PoE. I would suggest reforging the current raids for The Taken King with new gear to make them viable content in Destiny. Otherwise we are pretty much heading back to vanilla Destiny where it's 1 raid, nightfall, and done for the week. I'm actually enjoying Destiny with all the content I have to do, but I won't be buying TTK, at least not right away, if it's going to be a repeat of Nov 2014.
