So guys and gals out there in a relationship. Say your significant other has to move across the country from you. What do you do? What about the one metaphorically moving? Would you both abandon ship on the relationship? or try to keep it going as long as possible, Seeing each other where possible? I welcome the thoughts and opinions of those not in a relationship too. I am curious what people have to say about this.

Meh long distance relationship are a bad thing, but if you keep in touch enough and trust each other and know that your practically soul mates or whatever it's possible to have a long distance relationship >.>

They really, really suck. I've been dating my girlfriend for nearly two years. But this summer she moved to a different state, for various reasons. It was temporary, only a little over three months, and afterwards we'd be back in the same area again. But even knowing that it was temporary, and even though we still talked all the time, it was really hard on us at times. I don't know that it would have worked out if it was a more long term situation. I'm really glad it did though.

Where ever he goes. I go.

Pretty damn difficult to maintain. It will test you mentally, like really test you. I wouldn't go for it again
