Don't get me wrong, it's an amazing gun, arguably the best legendary for PvP, but is it really worth spending so much time to get the gun when The Messenger is out there? I weigh up the pros and cons in this video.

I forget. Is it the messenger or spare change that drifts slightly to the left? I recall one of them does, or used to Hopscotch is straight up so it makes it much easier to land headshot than whither one goes slightly left. Beyond that however, agreed to an extent. It is an awesome pulse rifle and can be re rolled to your desire. But it is a little over rated

I've only done a few Dragon Strikes ever on my 3rd char this morning got it. :)
-
Iv only done about 20 poes and ive gotten hopscotch pilgrim and dry dot. Try that
-
I've have seven messengers yet I have done 200 vanguard dragons in the past week and no hopscotch.
-
It's worth it if you have nothing else to do. HoW was so short lived that we had to make our own grind.
-
I play lots of strikes because I enjoy them, but I don't waste people's time in Trials because I'm not great at PvP. Hopscotch is a really fun weapon, even for PvE, so if I could get a Messenger with a burn I'd use it a LOT

I have had 5 of the Hopscotch Pilgrims. They are nice, but they are n not nearly as filthy as the Red Death. It is nice that it is a purple so you can run it with the Gally, but the Red Death is just nasty in PvP.

Edited by BAD-WAYNE: 8/21/2015 1:35:25 PMRun the lvl 28 PoE for an hour or two and you will get a Hopscotch Pilgrim. I pulled four of them in the course of two hrs while farming progress on the PoE Exotic Bounty...it's a random pull from the side chests. If you run PoE every week you should get one pretty quick.

So basically if you already have the Messenger, the HP is unrequired.
-
If u have the messenger then the hopscotch is similar but the hp stats are better if u look in armory

While I agree with you, the grind for me seems to be much less painful. I have gotten 3 in the last 2 months.

Edited by zxMassacrex: 8/3/2015 8:37:41 PMI think they are pretty much the same, except Hopscotch can be re-rolled though. Mine is on my Hunter, and I love it. (my perfect roll for PVP) and I think it is easier to get the Messenger than Hospscotch Pilgrim. The name is way better too... unique.
-
I'll never get Messenger though, not good enough, friends not good enough, not going to pay to be carried, so the grind might be real.
-
I'm probably never going flawless, so my hopscotch pilgrim is my go to pulse rifle
-
I'm loving Praedyth's Timepiece, it's a buffed Stranger's Rifle. I still wouldn't switch it out anything unless John Wayne himself came back from the dead and said, "Howdy, Pilgrim" before shooting me in the face while playing Hopscotch. Now there's a visual you can't unsee.

Why grind when it's a common drop. I think I've dismantled it so many times.
