Ok, I know that I'm not the only one who is sick of seeing these whiny "nerf" threads here on the forums. So I have come up with a solution for us all.
Instead of whining to nerf a weapon that a lot of people use and enjoy why not request a buff to a good alternative? For example, we can use the Thorn Issue, instead of saying Thorn is OP, nerf it, offer an alternative such as the Mida Multi Tool or the Nechrocasm and ask Bungie to buff them. This would balance things out and give players more options to choose from!
All I'm saying is, asking Bungie to nerf something is lazy and annoying, it's lazy because all you're saying is nerf one weapon and not offering alternatives or researching an alternative. Bungie wants CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, not DESTRUCTIVE criticism. When you ask for a nerf, you are asking to degrade/destroy a weapon. So offer constructive criticism, think for yourself, don't jump on the -blam!-ing "nerf everything because I'm a whiny little bitch bandwagon".
Just think, if Bungie is catering to everyone who cries Nerf like they are now, they will surely listen if everyone changes their ways and offers CONSTRUCTIVE criticism.

Actually I would have to agree with some of the nerfs (Black Hammer and Ice Breaker just don't make any sense). The problem with Crucible is that the Time To Kill is way too fast. If they just buffed everything that isn't as broken as Thorn, The Last Word, Red Death, and The Messenger the Time To Kill would still be around 1 second, except then everything would kill that fast. This would ruin Crucible (or more appropriately keep it ruined). Part of the reason Halo had suck good multiplayer was because the Time To Kill was slower. If you started to get shot in the back you could actually have a chance of fighting back because of skill. In the current state of the Crucible if you start getting shot in the back by any of the weapons mentioned above you are just screwed.

If the weapon is here But the standard is here, it makes zero sense to make the dozens of other weapons fit the OP weapon
