In the Ishtar Sink on Venus, your guardian comes across statues that depicts what looks like to be an angel of some sorts. I believe that the statues are of the Mesopotamian goddess of war and love, Ishtar. Hence the name of the region of Venus. There are many statues of Ishtar to be found, which begs the question. Were the scientists of Ishtar Sink worshiping Ishtar or just honoring the goddess for the region's namesake? What do you think?
