There are ways for Bungie to easily increase vault size without surpassing last gens capabilities. (I've seen a couple of well described posts about them but can't remember all the technical stuff they said) Bungie is just too lazy to use them. Not to mention its just a bit more memory while you're at the vault. If anything they won't do it because they know their servers suck and wouldn't be able to handle it and somehow last gen got blamed.

Why would they keep pushing content for last gen though?

Because there are still lots of last gen players. Therefore money to be made.

So they would keep making players on current gen disappointed because the game can't reach its full potential.....

Bungie won't ever bring ut to its full potential anyways. And we know that next gen has better graphics and faster loading and... [i]thats about it as far as specs, maybe a couple more technical things but small ones[/i] but some people just can't afford to upgrade. Like me. I have the money, but I can't afford it. And others don't want to. But we all still want to be able to play games we like.

But it's an antiquated system, so it's going to be left behind. And if you want to play the games you like you can get a new console.

Yes its true that it is being phased out, that doesn't mean everyone can get the new version. And it doesn't even make sense for a company to stop making games immediately for their last console when the new console comes out, they would lose out on a ridiculous amount of money. Instead they keep making money while it gets phased our slowly.
