Those out there who this relates to need to just chill for a second and read this.
I'll start by saying that I know that this doesn't apply to everyone, but...
PvE: Skolas; people must have a Gjallarhorn to be invited. Really? Just shut up, do you suck that bad to need a Gally to kill him?Anyway, they just haven't gotten lucky enough yet. It doesn't mean they suck. Nor does it make killing him impossible! I have personally killed him many times with a fireteam of 3 and me being the only one with a Gjallarhorn. It may take a little bit longer but it's not like you're going anywhere else. Besides there are many more badass weapons out there that can get the job done just as well if you're coordinated.
PvP: ToO (Trials of Osiris). Must have a certain k/d ratio and have already gone flawless to be accepted? Again just shut up. You take this too seriously! Anyway... I have an average k/d ratio of 0.83, pretty awful I know, but I've gone flawless. Sure it shows experience, but half the time on Control, Clash and Rumble you run off randomly on your own against six other enemies possibly getting double teamed or worse, (Guarantee you most people lie about it anyway). Most who enter trials know to stick together. And have coordination.
Look, all I'm saying is lighten up a little. There definitely should be requirements but make the within reason. Be someone's hero and help them through their first flawless run, Skolas kill and/or raid. You might make someone's day! After all, everyone has to start somewhere.

Lol why don't you suck up to bungie a little more?! I have yet to see a raid team or 35 prison team kill skolas ( after burns were removed) or down Crota without one gally. It's how the game works either you're lucky and get one then you can Finaly be useful for once in big events.
-
Quit wining about it and maybe grind and you'll get it ever thought of that!?
-
Blame Bungie for your stupid ghorn complaint. Stop crying. Pathetic.
-
Stfu pussy. We'll do what we want.

Edited by U8043781: 8/3/2015 10:07:20 PMAs I do not require anything when I post other than a mic I feel that people can play this game however they want, if that includes making requirements to join their group there is nothing wrong with that, as I just completed it last night with two people who didn't have ghally I can see why people post things like that as we could have been done an hour earlier than we were due to the fact that we couldn't do enough damage to burn him right away, stop telling people how to play THIER GAME!!!!!
-
You don't need gjal to beat skolas- nor do people really require it. I've completed it five times and only got the gjallahorn last week (so all were done without gjal). I don't find skolas difficult at all

If you're a good player why not help some one. That's all we do in our clan. The good players help the not as good players, it's both practice and the right thing to do. Do not tell me or any one on this thread that you are a good player then turn around and say you need two more good players to run trials, you're average at best. And at this point if you are running raids or poe and require gallys just turn your system off and do something else.
-
so dont play with em. form your own group
-
Well spoken
-
"Stop being ass holes" "Stop being a do-gooder" Neither will work m8
-
Don't suppose you'll help me with my first Flawless run?
-
Great post. Wish I saw more with this view.
-
maybe if there was optional matchmaking...
-
I'll just ask for more gallys, and you got carried I'll still ask for a certain kd

People give me flack constantly for rolling with a scout rifle in everything I do. I always get a giggle when I end up with a higher K/D in PvP or PvE than my teammates. The weapons only account for ~10% of a player's performance. It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it'd the size of the fight in the dog. Also, bump!

Fight me!
-
yea pass i like winning sry

I just surround myself with cool and competent people that I met as I went on. Then, when I hit up LfG, it's for a group that I'll mostly carry through stuff. When it comes to PvP, I like to stick to my PSN friends who I can tolerate... Don't expect all strangers to be tolerant and nice but there are a lot of us out there.

Man its a Pvp game every pvp and fps game have a toxic toxic community, not saying that there arent good people out there,I myself help whenever and wherever I can but some people, man make me wanna punch them right in the face, not worth to get salty or mad at a teen rated game :)

Edited by Xûr: 8/3/2015 3:57:14 AMNo one even asks for Gjally except that one twelve year old on LFG. I have seen the certain K/D ratio though. The Gjallarhorn is already confirmed to get a nerf so even if people are setting a Gally requirement now just wait till TTK release and there will be a salty river from whoever is setting requirements.
