A mutual friend introduced us on World of Warcraft. We started dating two months later. Now it's going on our third year together and I don't wanna change anything about it. Except the distance. But soon in the next few months I get to move in with him so I'm excited.

Me and my fiancee met on Halo 2. Took us ten years to finally meet in person. Now we're living together and engaged. Best choice I've ever made! :D

Your just like Kirito and Asuna from SAO but you probably don't know what that is
-
Nah I know what it is xD

Relationships built through an mmo (that eventually translate into a real life relationship) seem to be one of the strongest types, a lot of people don't realize that. I hope yours last forever ^^

Sadly not many people do. I still get the odd looks when I tell people we met online. Even worse ones when they ask if through a dating site and I say no lol. My brother is the only one who really understands out of my family lol.

Hey I met my girlfriend online, not through a game oddly enough, but we bonded through games more than anything until we met in person. Now that I have her I honestly don't see myself with anyone else my entire life. I felt this draw to her, like a sickness if I didn't go. I left everything I had behind and moved a few states just to be with her. Best decision I made my entire life. Oh and she's addicted to Destiny just like me, so that's a plus haha. Strange part is, coming up on one year together. Feels like it's been about 10 years though. The internet for me has been the best place to meet a girl :)

The reason why relationships like that can be some of the strongest is due to that you guys for a relationship on an emotional level not a physical level so you develop feelings with who you talk to and from a deeper level of understanding of that person. But when you are constantly around someone you don't always firm that kind of connection because longer distance you also treasure the moments you can talk and Skype and such, but when near one another st the start you take it for granted.
-
This is what I usually think of. Between that and we met on a common interest. And each time I even talk with him it's like new interests are found that we have in common. But the times we do meet are enjoyable. I still get nervous so much face to face with him too.

Yeah it makes sense, I would know having been in a relationship like that, didn't end up so well as she cheated but oh well, I guess you can't always tell who someone is. But I have no ragrets (yes I did that purposely) forgetting about her because I realize how much better I am without her. But that's true for when you see each other on those short moments because it's like you haven't seen each other in forever, and it's some of the best feelings ever, so they're moments you treasure. So that's why I think relationships like that can be the best but also some of the hardest and worst. But can be great if done correct.

We are still learning things. And will have much to learn when we move in. But thankfully I know his heart is with me and mine is completely with him. There was a scare when we first started. A old friend of mine tried to take him but thankfully he stayed. We have our ups and downs like everyone else but thankfully I found one who'll hold my hand and fight trouble with me instead of giving up like my previous bf's did.

I'm so happy for you. It's not often you meet a man like that over the Internet. I hope you two have a great future with each other. Of course everyone has their ups and downs and they can be tough to get through when far away, but I'm happy you guys are able to solve those problems. Congrats to you and your bf and let there be many great years ahead for you!
