There are plenty of ways to improve your experience while playing the story, and I would love to hear them. Here are two of the many my friends and I have devised, please tell me what you think?
Adding hazardous weather effects:
-Russia is know for its frequent blizzards in the winter time, blinding all who are caught within, the cold sting forces us indoors, then outside once more to aid the people of the frontier.
-The Hive dig deeply into Luna, the stress can cause seismic activity; the ground will shake, and dust will rise in the low gravity, fight off the hive that rush forth from their keeps like swarming ants from a broken mound.
-Venus; before the guidance of the traveler helped us to change its desolate lands, it was covered in volcanic vents and shoots. The air was toxic, scolding hot, and all but inviting and with the collapse, and passage of time it is once more. Poisonous fumes seep from the cracks, stay clear of them, the Vex and Fallen love to use any excuse to make a push on the few survivors that still try to make a life on Venus bearable.
-The ancient shifting sands that blanket Mars are some of the harshest man has ever dared to face. The People who still walk the dunes see them more then any other, but the sandstorms are the only force that keep them hidden from the Cabal and Vex. Slow their advance may be, but as guardians, we cannot turn a blind eye to our people, no matter the distance or form.
-Mercury is the closest to the sun, and is bathed constantly with the great arch's of fire that streak across the sky burning all it touches. Be sure you are not caught outside the shadows in such a fierce blaze or you won't have time to think about how bad a mistake that was.
-Resting within the vast fields of rock, metal, and ice sits Oryx's Dreadnaught, without shields, weapons, nor king to command it sits in the center of a storm. The rings are not fixed, they rotate and as they do some may in fact collide with the dreadnaught, try not to be near the exterior in such a storm.
Basic interactive environment:
-Cause Avalanches by shooting at the sides of mountains, dunes, and old buildings.
-Find hidden paths by pushing aside old foliage and ruined debris to find caves and passages with their own mysteries to solve, you might just stumble onto a vex gate, taking you to places unseen by guardians.
-Natural traps are a danger; watch your footing on the dunes and cracked stone, they might just collapse under your weight. The armies of the darkness may use such things for opportune ambushes, watch yourself guardians.
"You may just find your way, but be careful...the world's are no longer the bastions of security they once were, but with a keen eye, and skilled hands you may just over come these challenges...only time will tell..."
A lot of these sound exhausting work for the dev's, but they are just exaggerated features already built into the game. These would allow for new missions in patrol, a form of community event as well as random instances, both of which enhance story and enrich the PvE. To players who don't feel up to the challenge, many of these are uncomplicated, and add just bit of mystery to the Patrol and friends like the Legendary Six Coyotes can help you through the toughest of such tasks.

Did you notice that the poll option shows the opposite of it's actual results before you vote? It's weird....
