More reserve ammo, I think it would be the best primary in the game.
High damage output, high stability, fully auto, and what a lot of people don't seem to realize is that it bypasses all enemy shield types (yes, even arc and void shields).
Only drawback is the damn thing is an ammo whore. But other then that, the gun is amazing. Doesn't get enough love in PvE IMHO.

I completely agree. It, like most other exotics, is supposed to be a completely unique weapon, powerful in it's own way. They should be worth it, having good, balanced stats, including ammo capacity.

I agree

It would be a lot better if Bungie undid that cone spread nerf. It feels like around 2/3rds of your shots dont go where you are aiming unless you are firing within Party Crasher range :/

Use the extended Mag perk and armor that boosts either special or fusion rifle ammo capacity. I also run a shotgun when I use the vex so when I am around 50 rounds in reserve I can clear 5 - 10 ads with my shotty and pick up a few primary bricks.

I agree completely. I would also like an option for a different sight.

Wait it does?

It was designed to be the best primary in the game. Then it got nerfed 4 times. It had 324 when all others stopped at 300.

I agree about the ammo. I run out all the time.

I use it on my warlock with special weapon focused perks. Mainly the ones that increase special weapon ammo. For example, two of the sunsinger exotic chest pieces have perks for more special ammo and the trials boots for warlocks will carry more special ammo as well. That fixes the problem for me.

Edited by keeper71: 8/3/2015 7:58:04 PMI love my Vex, I use it to melt all the shoot and run away thorn users. Just get some gloves that increase reload speed and you are all set.
