Buying the Taken King? Read this....
The Taken King should be changed to The King of Taken your Money.
The DLC is overpriced at $40.
It is not worth $40...Activi$ion....as we ALL well know...is disgusting when it comes to scamming people.
Destiny is on its last leg with milking beyond belief since both Bungie and Activi$ion know that all the good games are coming out soon (SW Battlefront, Uncharted 4, Deus Ex, Doom, Fallout 4, Dishonored 2, Need for Speed 2015, etc.)

I would pay 40 bucks for a new raid, so 40 bucks for this DLC isn't too bad. I pay 85 bucks a month just to park my car in a parking garage in L.A., so 40 bucks isn't too bad at all.

They definitely won't be losing sales, though I agree with you about overpricing. The thing is, they know people will pay for it at that price so I doubt they'll drop it. That being said, I will buy it because I actually like this game, more content will be nice, the new subclasses look fun, and $40 isn't that much.

2 RepliesAlready bought it. That'll make $135 I've spent on Destiny and I've gotten every penny's worth. You're right about the games though. Lots of good stuff coming. This is Destiny's last chance for me. Needs to be considerably better than HoW. HoW was awful.

I think I've spent 40$ on cheese, this last week. Manchego, smoked cheddar, Irish cheddar, a couple Italian varieties, a cream cheese, and you know what? The Taken King will last longer than those cheeses will.
