Question about the Fermi Solution Ship
For those of you who have the Fermi Solution, what rank did you get it at? I know it's RNG but I have been grinding rep as much as possible the past few weeks trying to get it and I'm getting discouraged when I get a single mote of light ranking up (currently sitting at rank 53 and I've been ranking up at least every other day). I could have been around rank 90 if I didn't level up all the other factions.
Also, I've heard that once The Taken King comes out, the Fermi Solution will no longer be available. Does anyone know if this is true? If so I am going to have to grind even more. I've never wanted something more in Destiny.

Edit: 9-15-15. No Fermi Solution, but at rank 103 (the first time I ranked up in the TTK dlc), I got the new Kondratyuks Escape ship. It's no fermi solution and just looks like a reskinned variks ship, but it'll do for now.

I got the Fermi Solution when I hit rank 29 the day HOW dropped. Although I've never gotten any shaders.

3 RepliesAnother update. The first time i ranked up dead orbit with TTK, I got the new dead orbit ship. I knew I would get it fast due to the new rng system they out in place, but I didn't think it would be that fast. Hopefully the fermi solution is still obtainable.

24 on my hunter. Literally got it last night. Picked up bittersteel at 22 as well. And at level 21 I got the nowhere on my warlock and he got the exotic quest at rank 25 2 days ago. Dead orbits been hooking it up as of recent.

Hopefully it's still available in TTK, but if not at least I can say I tried. Since the nightfall and weekly aren't going to be around next week, I won't get the buffs or 999 experience and I don't feel like grinding even harder per rank. And that's just with my main character. I've leveled up my hunter and Titan a bunch of times too.

I don't remember. I used to have a different Titan before the one I have now, which is at rank 17 I think. I wasn't a lot higher than that on my old Titan, but I'd say I got it shortly after level 20...

Rank 47 on the character i got it with, it took me collectively 97 ranks between all characters to get all shaders and the ship. Thanks to the new kiosk system i now have the Fermi and Revenant on all characters (only got one of each from the faction packages).

Somewhere around 35-40. Dropped in back to back packages. I'm still short 2 Shaders tho. Hopefully it won't be as miserable after 9/15

1 ReplyHere's what I did. I simultaneously levelled up two characters faction rep. My hunter got the ship at rank 25 and no shaders were rewarded yet on my Titan I've received 2 shaders before rank 20 and no ship. My advice is level up DO across all your characters and your more likely to get the ship
