I will be working on a community based exotic in honor of this community effort![/b] [b]Exotic Ideas 2 Link[/b]: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/191970608/0/0 Primary: Assault rifle- No Other Choice "In dire situations, only one opinion is available" Perks are Focused Fire and Last Chance (Getting a kill at low health lowers the damage taken) Scout rifle- Sword and Shield "The strength of one comes from his defence" Perks are Extended Range, Armor piercing rounds, and a choice of Broaden the shield (3 consecutive kills grants an over shield) or Sharpen the sword (3 consecutive kills grants bonus damage) Hand cannon- Skill Unknown "Wielders became so skilled, it was a paradox" Perks are Final Round and Specialist (Hand loaded and Return to Sender) Special: Sniper- Doctor's Medicine "Headache? I can cure it" Perks are Return to Sender, Third Eye, Snapshot, and Doctor's Pill (Precision kills cause enemies to explode and returns health to player) Shotgun- Surprise "Slugs make a great gift" Perks are Hammer Forged, Light Weight, Slug Rounds (Extended Range and no spread) Fusion rifle- Time Flux "Time moves forward with your permission" Perks are More impact penalty to rate of fire, and Chrono's Revenge (One shot slows down enemies) Heavy: Rocket launcher- Poseidon's Wrath "A weapon worthy of a god" Perks are Javelin, Army of one, Trident (A rocket fired splits into three rockets and tracks different enemies) Machine gun- Hellfire "Who needs a rocket launcher, I can send one hundred explosions" Perks are Persistence, Surplus, Light them up (a random bullet is an explosive round that blinds nearby enemies) If you have any ideas, please leave them down below.   • Void Guard is a series of armor pieces for defensive purposes only. [u]Riot Squad[/u] "You are the first line of defense when marching on the enemy" Titan Defender gauntlets that are white plated (right arm has wires and a circular emitter dead center of plate). When you use your melee charge, an animation of holding your right arm in front of you, and a void riot shield will deploy. (This is full body size) You must hold the melee button down or you will drop your shield. Using the shield will use 10% melee charge every second (use shield for 10 seconds max). Will absorb all direct damage (splash can damage you). Perks Tier 1: Strengthen- If the shield takes void damage, it will save you 5% melee charge. Tier 2: Stay Strong- If the shield takes no damage at all, your melee will instantly recharge. (Shield must be used for whole ten seconds without damage to work) [u]Strength of the Void[/u] "Everyone can wield the void... only you can show them its true strength" Warlock Voidwalker gauntlets that are black with purple rings pulsing between wrist and elbow. Your melee now grants over shields to your teammate (only one person). You must continuously hold the melee button to hold the over shield. It lasts 10 seconds max. Teammate must be close by to work (equal to enemy in melee range). Perks Tier 1: Void 2x- If the teammate you are shielding is using a void subclass, their super will charge quicker. Tier 2: Void's Heart- If your super is fully charged, your teammate's over shield absorbs 2 times as much damage. This in turn will slowly drain your health. You will die after 10 seconds if you continously use this. [u]Bow to Allies[/u] "Who said hunters can't defend other guardians?" Hunter Nightstalker gauntlets that have two void arrows on each gauntlet. Firing a shadow shot arrow at your feet will spawn a ring wall the same size as a Ward of Dawn. Teammates and enemies can walk through, but enemies inside will gain the slowness debuff as a normal void anchor. The wall will absorb 1/3 of the damage. Everything else can pass through and hit people inside. Perks Tier 1: Dark Light- If an enemy walks into the ring, their charged (not activated) super meter will be reduced to 99% charged until they leave the ring. Tier 2: Hold the Pack- The strength of the ring wall increases if more teammates stand in it. It stacks from 1/3 damage absorbed, to 2/3, and then 3/3.

    • A sniper in the heavy slot Name: Kabr's Absence The first team to look for Kabr's fire team found only this. Arc Damage Perk 1: The bottom half of this weapon's magazine does bonus damage Perk Option: Mulligan QuickDraw Basket Mag Exotic Perk: this weapon fires 2 bullets at once Mag size: 4 (16 in reserve) This is designed to excel in PvP while also being effective in PvE. The extra damage will make sniping easy as it will be a one shot from anywhere, body shots and all. In PvE, this will be an absolute monster at ripping through majors, especially anything with an arc burn. The major downfall is this sniper has the worst in class stability and reload speed. The design would be a sniper made out of glass, like the glass in the Vault of Glass. It will have a whitish tint to the glass. You will be able to see Vex energy pulsating through the gun.

        Imperial Armory is a series of cabal style titan armor and weapons. These can be collected by any class but can only be wielded by titans. Mobile Artillery "Always bring a bigger gun" Titan chest plate that looks like Valus Tlu'urn's mortar cannon. Deals arc damage. The chest plate is very bulky on the front. This also takes up the exotic weapon slot, specifically the heavy weapon slot. When heavy ammo is collected, the barrel will extend into firing position. When you select your heavy weapon, you can hold left trigger. This will bring up a target on the ground showing where the mortar will land. Down side, you can not walk around when holding left trigger. Perks Tier 1: Reserves- Increase number of mortars from 3 to 5. Tier 2: Heavy Artillery- Destroying any vehicle grants bonus damage on next mortar. This chest plate is sky blue and white but can change with shaders. If you get heavy ammo, you will look like a bada**, a walking tank. If you got heavy ammo, everyone will know, and you might become a bigger target. Lieutenant's Pride "Show your leadership, and put down those who challenge you" Heavy mini gun like cabal colossus carry. It holds 600 bullets max. You walk noticeably slower when carrying this weapon. Perks Tier 1: Warm Up- This weapon has one clip (no reloading), instead this weapon takes a second to warm up then fire. This weapon will over heat if fired continuously. A meter around reticle will show how hot gun is. Tier 2: Lieutenant's Pride- This deals 10% more damage if you are surrounded my fireteam members/random teammates.

        • Omfg stop posting these, they aren't allowed to add community ideas so everytime you even post one it makes it so they aren't allowed to use that idea, law issues, if you want them to use one of your ideas, your better off not posting them at all, because now they can't use any of these.

            Exotic Foundry Weapons Omilons Pride [spoiler]"Who Needs Bullets We Have Water" Heavy machine gun looks like a mini gun Choice between -"Mad Liquid Fury" you are slowed but hip fire is greatly improved and consecutive damage reloads half the mag (1/2 of 1/2 every process until you reload so mag of 80 goes 80-40-20-10-5 )(have to hit 10 shots in 2 seconds) and -"Bipodal Assualt " aiming while prone or crotched behind cover deploys a bipod that greatly increases stability and has a chance to Regan health on kills [/spoiler] ---------------------- Hakkë RPG [spoiler]"RAMPAGING PRIMAL GORILLA" Rocket Launcher looks like an RPG with gorilla paint and designs you get both "Up Close And Personal" No splash damage and increased damage the closer you are "No Monkey Buisness" Rocket explodes an additional time after a short delay [/spoiler] ----------------------- The Old Blade of Suros [spoiler]"were good at making guns. But what about swords" sword has the traditional suros look applied to a sword "Guardians Fury" -press R2 to lunge into combat and deliver a series of quick blows [/spoiler]

              Chicken wang Giant greasy chicken wing melee weapon like a sword But it flings globs of AOE grease and fat lard that stick to surfaces, cause enemy screens to get goopy and a little disorienting when they step in it. One hit kill melee, two shot for the globs, but they have to be pretty close to the enemy. Second exotic perk: 8 piece meal Increases ammo capacity, and makes launched fat globs split like a shotgun blast, but slightly decreased damage for each glob. Globs stick longer and last longer before dissipating

                    • Angel's Ascension/ Demon's Demise "To reach the heavens, one must traverse the bowels of hell" A primary weapon that switches between being an Auto rifle and a scout rifle, each with their own perks. "Angels ascension"- Zen moment, max ammo capacity, increased stability, rangefinder and Serene Grace (recieving 5 consecutive hits [without killing target] causes allies around you to receive over shields and health regeneration for 10 seconds. Can stack up to 3 times receiving 30 seconds of duration) "Demon's demise"- Glass half full, high caliber rounds, flared magwell, increased stability, and Abandoned Hope (kills causes targets to explode (20% chance and any splash damage enemies receives transfers to cooldown of grenades and melee)

                        What it looks like so far, not sure if I'll add anything but if so I'll repost. Here we go... Chiaroscuro or Umbrolt (Exotic) Chiaroscuro - Veiled/partly in shadow Umbrolt (name I made up) - Dark lightning bolt/shadow bolt Y'all can pick name. ¤ Forged in light, rended by darkness; [weapon name] comes back for vengeance. Hybrid between Assault and SMG 50 rounds per magazine (49 and 1 chambered if Bungie was being realistic) 10 rounds that hit, stability is decreased and more damage is applied (perk). Exotic perk: Umbroltage (or whatever) - If all 50 rounds hit target(s) (no misses), [weapon name] will cast a shadow bolt towards the target(s) (AOE), staggering and draining life from the target(s) giving health back to the user. Basically a pi**ed off Red Death and Thorn combined. Can't be used unless capped (like year 2 exotics) Also the weapon is broken into 3 parts. You'll have to go to 3 locations and find the 3 parts to reforge the weapon.

                        • Smitty Werbenjagermanjensen's Cap "It's was his hat, Guardian!... He was number one!..." Last words of a Ghost upon a tombstone. Based off of the Spongebob episode "One Krab's Trash." This will be an exotic helmet for all classes (they all act and look the same). It will look similar to how it was designed in the episode, (blue cap with a white front and a big #1 along with the soda holders) but the color will change with your shader. How to obtain: You will obtain this exotic through a small story mission basiclly reenacting the later part of the episode. Only swarms of dead-looking Guardians will spawn after you take it and proceed to kill you. Death will boot you to orbit. Perks: Army of the Living Dead(Reviving allies or being revived will be shortened and standing near downed ghost will lessen the timer to where allies can respawn), Quench the Thirst(Picks up ammo packs further away from you and these will give you more ammo per pick up and slowly regenerate health upon picking up), #1(Being the last Guardian standing will boost weapon damage, give you a small overshield, and reviving one Guardian will boost both of your shields further and they last longer) Advantages: You now get to be #1, very good for a support or team player class, gets you more ammo per drop, quick revive of allies and yourself Disadvantages: Takes up an exotic slot

                          • Here's a couple more: Old Glory "The greatest battle implement ever devised." Exotic Scout Rifle Looks somewhat like an M1 Garand. Low rate of fire, high damage, goes "ping!" after final round. Buttstock to the HEAD!: Replaces standard melee attacks (non charged melee without special effect of class-specific melee ability) with a very quick melee attack using the rifle's stock. Rate of attack would be significantly higher, but with some kind of penalty to it like it being slightly weaker than the regular melee or there being less of a "lunge" with each attack. Say 'Hello' ". . . to my little friend!" Exotic Rocket Launcher Looks like a rocket launcher sized M203 grenade launcher. Fires smaller rockets that bounce off of walls before detonating, ricocheting once or twice depending on player choice for weapon perks/stats. Flamethrower. Enough said.

                              i'd like to see class specific exotics, and exotics that are account unique. hunters are the "sniper" class, so would be nice to have a sniper that gives the hunter a small benefit over the "one sniper gun for all class/subclass" approach. for example. and failing that, subclass skills that benefit the use of a specific weapon type.

                              • Gun-lets (perversion of gun and gauntlets) "For those who ran out of Tank shells, and want to still beat everything." This will be an exotic sidearm of all things, so it will go in the special slot. This was partially inspired by the famous quote from the Halo series "Tank beats everything!"(I believe it was Halo 3... it's been a while...) And a buddy of mine (who's name is, you guessed it, Tank). In terms of how it looks, this will be attached to your gauntlets and be a very small looking machine gun, in either dust or regular camo colors. It's damage type is solar. Perks: Chain Gun([Initial perk]This gun has a short wind up time but an insane rate of fire), Reserves Lost([Initial perk]This gun has no magazine so this can take ammo directly from your storage), Flash rounds(Every fifth bullet fired will light up and do explosive damage on the target, will also make a distinct trail so you can see where your bullets go), Punch Happy(Preforming a melee ability will cause gun to fire as well, giving more damage to attack[works poorly on ranged melees]), Cannon Fodder(Killing low level enemies or Minions of the Darkness will grant extra-damage to your next heavy projectile[This will only work on one rocket, will last 5 seconds upon firing first bullet from machine gun, will work on either three normal swings or one heavy swing from swords] Stacks up to 5x.) Advantages: Light and portable, Great for stacking damage for your heavy or using as a replacement for it, those who like melees will like this exotic, the destroyer of Cabal shields, Flash rounds are useful for extra damage on big targets, Disadvantages: The wind up time is similar to a low charge fusion rifle so that has to be taken into account, damage buff only works if you have heavy to begin with and buff will only last for 15 seconds after reaching either it's cap or you don't kill anything, this burns ammo quickly,

                                  These two are based off of a friend of mine, Diamondfire a critical member of my fireteam Steelclad Hull "What are you looking at? Oh this? Yea that was my fault..." Exotic chestplate for Titans. Based off of my buddy Diamondfire and the Spongebob episode "Shell of a Man". This massive chestplate will be bulky and silver modeled after an old Ironclad ship. Sticking out of the side of the armor will be a warhead like projectile, hence the description. Perks: Beachhead(Getting kills with rockets grants you bonus damage with your primary and secondary weapon for 10 seconds), Merimack(Kinetic shot have a chance [15%] to ricochet off of your armor dealing no damage to you), Torpedo Belly(You take no splash damage) Advantages: Feel extremely bulky and mighty in this heavy piece, useful for those who deal a lot with heavy weapons, Kinetic shot have a chance to ricochet off of you, protects your from the annoying splash damage Disadvantages: Not so useful for those who don't use rockets, And Diamond in the Rough "Eons have spanned since this weapons creation, now feel the earth's power" Exotic heavy sniper rifle. This montrosity will be a long barreled sniper with a larger bore size. The main color will be a white/ clear crystal color with small bits of black coal like structures randomly on the barrel and stock. Perks: Overpenetration([initial perk] Rounds Overpenetrate targets), Barrier down(Shots go through Phalanx Shields and Knights shield), Should have seen me([suggestion made by DarkHunter]drastic increase to reload speed and accuracy when crouching and out of the enemies direct line of sight) Advantages: Useful for anything that you can't kill with a sniper in one shot, destroyer of Phalanx and Knights, Disadvantages: Moving will cause the accuracy to drop, insane recoil unless crouching or standing still, takes up the heavy slot,

                                    Before TTK came out, I was thinking about the exotics they would feature, knowing most of my bets wouldn't be right. I was particularly excited for a handcannon I thought about named "The Rose". It would have a sleek, chrome colored base, almost like Hawkmoon, but whiter. Pink and blood red roses would paint the sides and down the barrel, each with its own set of black thorns sticking in all directions from the stems of the flowers. The barrel had a gray smoke oozing out of it. The grip of the gun also featured golden brass knuckles for your fingers to slip through for a better aim. I imagined it being a silenced handcannon, with a solar damage type, as well. Not sure on all perks, I'd have to do some serious thinking, but I did have a couple... Taunting Beauty: When killed with a precision shot, the enemy will turn on its allies and begin to attack Last Resort: When a shot is missed (say firing into a crowd), it places a small cloud of smoke that disorients nearby enemies for a short time I know the perks aren't original, but they sound cool.

                                    • "The Parasitic Artifice." Scout rifle. Flavor text, "You are not the first to ask those words. What worth is it to a man to gain great power, but lose his own soul? Let me show you." Exotic attribute. "Slakeless thirst, Unending hunger." Once super is fully charged, rifle fires with an enhanced rate of fire, element harmonizes to element of player's subclass, kills slightly drains payer's super. Once super is fully drained, rifle fires at significantly lower rate, but with much higher kinetic impact, kills build super. Filling super triggers thirst, emptying (by one means or the other) triggers hunger.. "The vessel of transmutation"... Artifact. Activating super fully refills all ammo types, and loads unloaded weapons instead of triggering super event.."

                                          Helmet ideas Hunter: Scarweaver: "[i]make them remember you. Make them fear you. Make them [b][i]pay[/i][/b].[/i]" Shadowshot fires and tethers faster. Any enemies that survive tethering cannot regenerate health until they next spawn, and will explode when killed. this helmet is a silvery metal head covered in deep gashes. Two large ones represent eyes, and glow faintly red. Warlock: combusteum therios: [i]in a world of infinite possibilities, sometimes it just takes a big bang.[/i] Dying has a chance to create a blinding explosion. Dying while a super is active will guarantee combustion. A simplistic warlock helmet with a horn bearing a white ball of energy at the end. Titan: Terramancer: [i]spread your righteous fire with each strike[/i] enemies damaged by sunspots create additional sunspots when killed. A simplistic warlock helmet with a horn bearing a white ball of energy at the end. A rounded helm with fire eminating from the neck

                                        • Paradoxical Mystery "Bounded by no laws of physics or space. Only time" Exotic Hand Cannon for my friend and fireteam member Paradox (yes the OP of this thread). This will have a standard hand cannon shape in pure black with red streaks that split off and make more streaks as it progresses down the barrel(similar to how the Butterfly effect works) Perks: Unbound-(Holding this weapon will increase agility, reload speed, and swapping to your next weapon), Paradoxal Revenge(This weapon will grant bonus damage to the enemy that last killed you for fifteen seconds) Choice between: 1. Did You See That?!(Grenades that cause AoE will last longer [five seconds] and kills with grenade will reduce super cooldown) 2. Want To See Me Do It Again?(Enemies that die by melee ability will instantly regeneration melee ability up to five times, not killing will cause melee to regenerate slower for ten seconds) Advantages:Good for those who like grenades or melees, great for the revenge kills, excellent for getting out of places and moving quicker, looks pretty bada**, Disadvantages: Operates like a standard hand cannon with lots of kick so some may not be very good with this weapon, increased speed may through some off a little, perks only work if gun is equipped at the time of using ability or death

                                          • The Stopwatch Exotic Machine Gun "3,2,1,...3,2,1,...3,2,1...0" Basically a MG with high stability, medium impact and slow reload. Vex themed. Exotic Perk: Rewind Time - Picking up heavy ammo when you are full will be transferred to your gun in the future while you use it. Reload animation shows the guardian opening the clock face on the side of the gun and resetting the hands to zero.

                                                Fusion rifles [spoiler]S-27 Grenadier Exotic void fusion rifle "Watch the world burn" - scratched into the handle Tier 0: Grenadier - shoots a single arced projectile that explodes Infusion Tier 1: Volley: aiming down sights increases range, and shoots a volley of 3 projectiles Tier 2: Bang for buck: getting a multi-kill with a single projectile has a chance to add an extra projectile to the next shot Rattler: heavily decreases charge time, lowers damage and size of explosion, lowers arc height. Afterburn: explosions leave a lingering cloud that stops regeneration and temporarily breaks shields/overshields Tier 3: Rubberized: increases the time until projectile detonates, projectiles ricochet Sticky: decreases the time until projectile detonates, projectiles attach to surfaces[/spoiler] [spoiler]Fusion rifle Low charge rate Above average projectile count Average reload Exotic perk: Projectiles attach to targets and each deal small DoT damage (stacks per bullet) Projectiles stick for 6-7 seconds. If the enemy dies while the projectiles are attached, they fire off in the direction of a nearby enemy (no tracking), with the same effects. Multi-kills with a single shot will refill the mag. Shots have very lazy tracking when firing from the hip[/spoiler] Scout rifle [spoiler]Teeth of Oryx (exotic scout rifle): Explosive rounds, precision kills cause targets to explode, precision kills cause reload speed to increase substantially, 1 ammo, high impact, low reload, piercing, shots ignore enemy shields, hitting an enemy allows shot to pierce an obstacle once (stacks x5)[/spoiler] Helmet [spoiler]Gain increased damage for a short amount of time after being dealt a precision shot, aiming down the sights and focusing on an enemy will cause projectiles to lazily track them, hold extra special ammo[/spoiler] Chestpiece [spoiler]Chest of the Martyr: A single attack can only do a max of 1/3 health, going into red health generates a medium explosion (health has to completely refill to reset), drops your grenade upon death, allies obtain an attack and defense boost when you die[/spoiler] Gauntlet [spoiler]Reloading continues while sprinting and meleeing, increase to melee speed after killing an enemy, melee while recharging does elemental damage matching your subclass[/spoiler] Boots [spoiler]Picking up orbs of light while your super is filled contributes to how filled the super bar will be after the super is cast, picking up orbs while your super is active extends its duration[/spoiler]

                                                • I would want a hunter chest piece that fully recharges your melee override when you have less then 25% if health

                                                    Grasp of the Praxic Fire Warlock Gauntlets "Burn your enemies with an undying flame" Praxic Scorch-Your scorch melee burns for 1/5 of the damage, but burns until the enemy dies. Ultras are not affected by this and burn for normal time and damage.
