ok you're just becoming annoying now. part of immersion is having relatable things to pull ppl into its world. you keep using the "space magic" point, bring a lighter to medieval times and see if they call that magic. yes? but do we? no, because we understand how it works

Dumbass they already had fire in medieval times. Maybe if you brought an iphone it would count. Im just trying to say your argument is moot. In a fantasy game such as destiny lack of ammo does anything but immerse you in the game. Quite to the contrary its a distraction. Whats immersive is the gameplay and beautiful hd graphics.
-
why is there ALWAYS a toxic prick like you patrolling these forums whose only real goal in life is to belittle other ppl? yea, they had fire. but did they have butane? and plastic? and the means to make all the little metal parts to make contact with the flint and spark that fire? no they didn't. making a fire took effort back then, not the snap of a finger. bringing an iPhone back would mean nothing cause you'd have a useless piece of aluminum and glass since there was no power or networks to connect to. yes gameplay and graphics help with immersion, and during gameplay you have to reload a gun using ammunition from a finite pool. get your head out of your ass and read everything and use your brain to respond please

The butthurt is strong. Just because i dont agree with your limited scope argument for ammo limits adding to the immersion of the game does not make me toxic. Plz remove pineapple from your colon before posting. They had flint and shit in medieval times breh. A lighter would be laughed at. An iphone with magical moving pictures and sound would be considered witchcraft and get you burned at the stake. Y u so salty bro? Saltimus prime up in here. Ya saltier than all da oceans.

you're allowed to disagree all you want, doesn't make you right nor does it give you the right to bring your point up in the tone you did. you've yet to even present any argument besides how wrong my opinion is. thought debates were taught to kids at an early age nowadays
-
Ooooo im sooweee i raised my typing voice, we should both go on ricky lake and talk it out. Immersion has nothing to do with ammo. You basically already have unlimited ammo in the game if you include ammo reset and ammo synths. Having to go into your inventory to add more ammo takes away from the immersion because youre adding an unnecessary break in the game play. Having to run around a corner and take a break to regen ammo while you grab a soda or smoke a cig adds another break into gameplay. If anything weapons like ice breaker invective and black hammer add to the immersion because you can concentrate on killing shit (primary focus of the game) and not on going into your menu to magically get more ammo.
-
ice breaker and invective do, but because unlimited ammo is supposed to be a feature of those guns. black hammer was not intended to be like that. what you're fighting for is a game where you stand still and shoot at an almost motionless target
-
I dont have black hammer. Dont need it really. What i am salty about is icebreaker nerf. Completely not warranted nerf. If were not supposed to stand and shoot how else are you supposed to merc shit? Do you quick scope bosses while sprinting or blinking through the air? Though not. Boss design is main culprit for the way folks play the game. If bosses werent just bullet sponges people would play different. Like look at atheon! You cant do that cheesy shit there because he was a well designed boss that had mechanics.
-
I can agree about IB. I think they made that choice out of spite to try n force other guns on ppl. the bosses are designed to be bullet sponges, the adds are what's meant to change the momentum. but when you've got a community of millions all analyzing every possible vantage point and weapon the simplest routes are bound to be found. once that happens more and more ppl adopt that as their method. even in the raids the simplest methods have been adopted by a ton of ppl. some of these methods have been patched out, others aren't so simple to just patch out. tho these tools are in the game to burn thru bosses before they can cause any harm, that's not how they meant for the game to be played
-
Yea people will always find a cheese, thats how it usually goes. Its not an easy thing to combat. Even with weapon nerfs im 100% sure there will be easy ways around whatever comes out with taken king
-
and I don't blame the dev for that, I blame the player base for their willingness to try n break the system. then those holdouts feel pressured to break it just to keep up
-
If game was developed well enough you wouldnt be able to break it without actually hacking the game. Its sooooooo easy to cheese almost everything. Hell, some warlock even solod atheon. If theres holes people will find them. Cant get mad at players for abusing holes left in strategy by devs
-
Edited by NAMUH38: 8/2/2015 1:33:20 AMI get mad at a driver for crashing into me at 100mph, not the manufacturer for allowing the car to go that fast. you're a member of the entitled generation, aren't you?
-
Are you kidding?! Have you not been following the stupid amounts of recalls from car manufacturers?! Theres your perfect example of how burden lies with manufacturer and not user. Also i was born in the soviet union and came to the us as a refugee. Plz tell me more about how entitled i am
-
you do understand the process of recalls, yes? they're not issued just because an incident occurred. only when an incident was the result of faulty design, not because someone abused the design which worked as intended. so your point does nothing against mine in regards to the driver of a speeding vehicle being at fault. your type loves the anonymity of the internet
