The problem with that is that the quality of the game has plummeted since WaW, however, it makes a shitload of money, so every other FPS tries to copy it so they can make money too. The franchise needs to die so some measure of innovation can come back to the shooter market. Before our only hope for that was Battlefront, but DICE managed to fuck that up. So until these cash cows finally die we're going to be stuck in the same stagnant bullshit.

They're not going anywhere. The reason why CoD sells well is because it has solid multiplayer. The quality of the game isn't dminishing, just their ideas. The single player is stupid as hell, but people don't buy it for that. I don't see a lot of shooters copying CoD, so idk where that claim is coming from. Rainbow Six siege, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Battlefront, and Halo 5 aren't copying CoD. The Franchise has reached its plateau or is nearing it, but to say a game with as big of a following as it has must die is a bit much. I'm skeptical of the way Battlefront looks, but I'm not going to judge a product I haven't had my hands on, and neither should you.
