"Hello, Guardian...
Like you, and many others. We will probably be set on trial for yet another huge disappointment. That's right, I'm talking about...
The Taken King Expansion.
Us veterans (Who are self-titled to this crown.) have been playing Destiny since its epic release of September 9th 2014. We are now, seeing a true sight of many hungry corporate executives ruling the gaming empire.
Those who have bought the regular edition of this game paid 60$ U.S.D.
Those who bought the hardback limited edition paid 100$ U.S.D.
Those (like myself) who bought The Ghost Edition, paid 150$ U.S.D.
BUT NOW.
Those who are new to the frontier, can pay 60$ U.S.D. for the thrill of enjoyment by experiencing ALL THREE Expansions. Does this seem fair to day one players? (I don't think so.)
Say you pay 60$ U.S.D. for a cut game. Then another 25$ U.S.D. for The Dark Below and House of Wolves which added excitement for about a week or two into Destiny. (Personally.) Now paying 40$ U.S.D. for the rest of in-game content that was "taken" from us.
125$ Total for casual consumer.
Is Destiny really worth that much? A game that is a... 500 Million $ investment is this even true?
I feel so robbed from this expansive 10 year sellout. How much money will be spent in the end on this game?
My guess is up to 300$ U.S.D.
WTF IS GOING ON!?
I would love to know the ploy behind this marketing strategy and would love to understand why we have to wait YEARS to play this full game.
Rockstar releases Updates for GTA V that are immersive and let's not forget...
DRUM ROLL PLEASE!
IT IS FREE.
Will we ever get free content in Destiny, or will you keep milking the cow till it's deathly dry.
I don't know what I am going to do with this game.
Sincerely,
A loyal fan.
Ask yourself Guardians, will you defend Bungie and Activision for this content, or will you speak up against "THE TAKEN KING?"
Copied from a post on the Destiny Facebook Page regarding all of us Vets.
I love playing the game, I have loved bungie since the time I first played Marathon. But this is not cool... c'mon mates! Lets get loud.

This pretty much sums up why I haven't preordered TTK yet. I'm still not sure what I want to do about that, but Bungie hasn't exactly helped themselves out by improving the game since HoW came out. If anything, it's worse, and the little information we do have about TTK and the weapon balancing update aren't helping either.
