Can I have A Ketch Already?
Okay so since vanilla game I've understood the Fallen ranking system. We kill the winter Kell and we earn no such appropiate reward as the Queen did. She killed the Wolf Kell... and she got all of his fallen and all of his stuff along with them. As soon as we drop the Kell of Winter.... that Ketch, technically... should have been ours.
Now Taniks... all of those Dregs running around to kill their Leader's killer... so that they earn the respect and leadership over their kin.
Skolas, "Kell of Kells"... we defeated that fella twice. Once was a grand kill in the queens arena. And still... no Ketch.
The Queen is Awoken... so the argument that we are not Eliksni is silly. She did it, so can we.
Not to mention this would be excellent plot filler for giving us a means of reaching Saturn and such places.
This could be an amazing personal social area for clans and friends to show off trophies and the like within their Ketch's Walls. Name your ship, store your jumpships in the Skiff hangar-bay. An upgradable Vault and customizable cosmetics such as banners, lighting, coloring (external and internal), etc.
Upgrade your Ketch with vendors and cosmetic npcs to bring it to life(Fallen maybe?)
This could also be integrated into PvP. But not in the traditional sense.... take the soccer ball or bouncy blue ball and give it purpose!!! Guardian Competitive Sports! Just kidding(maybe).
Thoughts?
(Also Bungie this wouldn't require too much in the department of designing new assets... you have Ketch interiors and a plethora of cosmetic inserts for "furniture".)

Edit: Keep this trending friends! If it stay near the top they may actually consider this. Of course I am getting my hopes up way too early... but still. One can dream.

Love the idea. It can also be updated to satisfy Activision's financial fetishes too. It can be like Warframe's clan dojo. Base ketch is free, grind parts/components/etc to expand it and such the hard way. There would have to be 2 new currencies implemented to apply only to the ketch. Then Activision can have parts/furniture/npcs/etc that can be purchased. An example: You get a random trader in your ship or rep from the factions/vanguard with currency A. Pay $X for X amount of currency B and use it to purchase an agent of the Nine to be aboard the ship (timer or not, depends. One time purchase). Simple upgrades that are not forced or required, but fun if you want to pay for it. I have said it once, and shall again: Bungie and Activision can learn a lot from Warframe, and make Destiny better in the long run with it.

You could rent or buy rooms in the ketch and customise the interior. There would be a personal vault and grimoire collection. You could also invite other guardians to visit.

This idea is Genius. Hell I'd even pay a good 10 dollars for this. But hey, while we are at it. Why would we just steal a ketch? What if you could decide which ship you wanted to steal? Like you chose a ketch and get a mission, or a hive tomb ship, or some form of Cabal ship (I'd take the Cabal Ship.) Make your home in space. Make it your own. This would be a huge step towards what Destiny's potential and original promise was to us players.

I've never known it, but I've wanted this forever. Bungie: JUST. DO IT. If this isn't announced I'm dropping Destiny and spending the rest of my summer playing Splatoon. At least Nintendo listens to their audiences and balances weapons in a few week's time, adds maps that play very different than each other, and oh, yeah, that's right, THEY'RE ADDING IN PRIVATE LOBBIES. Never thought I'd see the day that Nintendo makes a better shooter than Bungie.

Yea. It could be your secondary hub area. You should be able to get a starter one and you could upgrade your queens wrath or prison of elders rep to get a better and bigger ketch. As you upgrade your ketch you could be able to get more things for your ketch. People could be invited into your ketch. You could display weapons you have earned and things like that. I think bungie should totally do this.
