In North America, the federal legalization of Marijuana for recreational purposes is imminent. Over 100 million Americans have smoked it and several political leaders support the drug being allowed for use including President Obama, and Canadian Liberal Party leader, Justin Trudeau. Marijuana has already been legalized in Colorado, Alaska, Washington and Oregon while in Canada, only medicinal Marijuana is legal. Now, as our society is becoming more progressive on taboo issues like this, the issues like weed legalization and same sex marriage which were previously illegal are now being considered for legalization by our countries politicians.
