Do you report them for lagging? What if they use dial up and can't afford good internet?
Dial up users stand up for your rights!
We have over 1k replies. Wow so many dial up users and mega speed users with red bar regardless.
I feel honored to see multiple threads very similar to mine. Originality seems to be lagging as well now!
Holy guacamole!! We passed 1.2k replies. I think we have a dial up problem here!
That's it I'm done.... 1.3k replies. My internet is dying over here. Too much bandwidth being hogged by this app. Please stop replying and no bumps! Red
bar out⇒
Damn it someone necro-bumped this..🏁
-
I live out in the country so the connection is slow. And because I want to play a game I'm a bad person? It's kinda -blam!-ed up to be honest.
-
Bump, I use aol prepaid internet to play destiny, not everybody can afford these expensive broadband connections!
-
I find it funny because in trials yesterday we came against red bar people and my mates were final rounding and they wouldn't die..they were so salty..."Omg I hit him" "you saw that right?" I was dying xD
-
When one person has a red bar and everyone else is green, I report them
-
I just have shut internet in my room :( I get reported almost every match. And people send me hate messages with content like stupid lags witcher. I don't even know how lag switching works or how I could do it. And I don't benefit from lag either!
-
i tell you all one thing - whenever i have bad connection and lag i can assure you i get ZERO advantage - it happens only occasionally, but i derive no benefit whatsoever - in fact it reduces my performance (which is already pretty poor lol) - lag is its own punishment if its genuine crappy internet. if you use devices and lag switches it has to be different - i can see no reason why anyone would want to replicate what happens when i red bar due to may Australian brand of internet connection
-
Edited by WSox 35th: 8/3/2015 2:43:16 AMIt's more on bungie with crappy servers all last night I noticed during matchmaking everyone would have full green bars maybe one or two yellow bars but as soon as the match would start almost everyone would drop to small red bars. Now some people do have just horrible connections I agree but not all of them you can usually tell the difference right away. You can't just go ahead and say you're going to report every red bar.
-
I only have Red bars because I have Magic Jack.
-
Bad connection however people instantly assume lag switcher when they see red bar even in the tower.
-
My internet isn't the best. When my wife streams it sometimes gives me a red bar on crucible. Let me tell you the only person it effects is me. The amount of times I have bladedanced some twat for them to stand there and then shoot me with their shotty.

I only report when they lag run and don't take damage. I drop a fist on you. You kill me run 5 steps and die. Reported for cheating bad connection. Not once but every time i die after that even if they aren't the one who killed me

Edited by ill VEN0M lli: 8/3/2015 7:54:58 AMGreen bar, red bar, yellow bar... Doesn't matter I'll still go negative haha *Collects my own tears to put back into my tear ducts

Report IDGAF
-
Edited by Oath 01: 8/3/2015 5:40:36 AMI tend to red bar a fair amount of the time since my net is inconsistent as -blam!-, but as far as i can tell, its not a problem. When capping zones i dont see much of a delay (usually when I'm seriously lagging, it'll take a sec for the capping/neutralizing bar to pop up) My bullets make contact when theyre supposed to, and i still die like a scrub when i unwittingly charge right into enemy ranks. As far as i can see, there's rarely n issue, and when there is i generally drop out n run strikes for awhile As for reporting people, nah, its whatever
-
I have no qualms about it until I shotgun you 3 times to the chest/face, FoH you and proceed to finish with a couple punches only to say "-blam!- it he's lagging" and have you turn around to shotgun me once and die.
-
I just say bad connection,
-
I dont report tillo see them in action. If a dude trots out and we cant kill him, then I report. If some guy is just moving all over the place instantaneously, report. It didnt use to, but trials and this IB has made me bitter.
-
I cant really afford good internet. So what i did was i bought an ethernet cable. Fixed my problems and now i hardly ever lag.
-
Nope, some people have bad connections sometimes, why should I be an asshole an abuse the report button. People today man
-
I think: "Damn this guys hardcore he couldn't even get off the xbox to get food at mcdonalds!"
-
What can they do ? Whats the point reporting them if they have shit internet ? What will bungie do , pay for their upgrade?
-
That's natural if you have a bad internet connection. What is unnatural, is a constant flux of Internet connection, and using external devices to purposely lower another person's connection. These are the guys that will get banned.
-
I have great internet, yet red bar a lot for some reason. Even so, it doesn't seem to effect gameplay that much. But there are times when the entire server is green barring but everyone is rubber banding and lagging like crazy. Green bar lag is the worst...
-
I watch them more closely. If I start seeing there's a pattern like their connection acts up only when they're trying to capture a zone, then I definitely report them. If it seems more random, then I just chalk it up to a bad connection and let it slide

Not my fault northern Wisconsin frontier sucks
