Hate mail comes in different forms, them being attacked for being female is the same as "I'm gonna come to your house and hang your whole family then -blam!- you, you scrub". How about defending EVERYONE who gets hate mail, and ACTUALLY caring for a better community, not only caring for a better standing in the female population. Don't be the type of person that says "black lives matter" be the type of person who says "all lives matter"
