Will I get banned???

So I haven't played Destiny in a week or so, but now that the ban hammer has fallen, and some people on the forums are claiming they've been falsely banned from the crucible. I'm not a cheater, I don't lag switch or exploit any PvP… but I have received hate mail before, telling me that I will be reported, even in some cases when I'm a green bar. What I want to know is, are bans solely based on actual evidence of a lag switch, or is there still I chance I could get banned due to reports alone????

  • They can monitor your network activity and Bungie said they would monitor the people who get reported. If you were lag switching then they'll find that out. Usually the people who say they weren't cheating really were. And if you were, then don't be one of those guys that post on here that he wasn't then find out in another post that he really was.
