The Fallen are a pretty brutal species. On the other hand, the Grunts during the rebellion proved themselves as a worthy challenge for even the Elites. It really depends on the context of the fight. However, I believe that the Fallen would win in most scenarios. Not without significant losses, though.

11 RepliesThe Grunts were actually a lot of trouble for the Covenant- as the guy below me said- They had to send an Arbiter in to take control of the chaos. The Grunts had started attacking the covenant from inside the cities, and you wouldn't think, but with so many of them, they were actually on the winning side at a time before the Prophets resorted to sending in their best warrior.

Fuel rod grunts, or grunts on Legendary, all over the place = lots of dead Fallen.
