Harassment in IB
*EDIT: the comments I received were directed towards my picture on PSN and my profile where I labeled myself as a mom gamer. The harassment was sexual and uncalled for. I have reported, blocked and submitted a grief report to PSN. Thank you for the advice, I was not the only one harassed and by posting those people were able to reach out to me. I will not be responding to anymore comments.

I just received multiple hate messages from the someone on the opposing team and they then proceeded to target me. Even after I left I received hate messages. I am a mediocre female player and they literally just chased me out of Iron Banner.
I've dealt with jokes on occasion but never fully on hate as a female player. I'm not sure what to do, I feel the "unfriendly " report isn't good enough.

If its actual harassment then report to Playstation. If you have proof they will ban. Ahhhhh it makes me feel warm and bubbly thinking about how some assholes will have hundreds of there play hours invalidated.

What do u mean mediocre female? Are your PVP skills average or are u referring to your looks? I went 0.5 on my first IB game yesterday and got hate mail from some guy on my team cus we lost. Next match I was on the other team and proceeded to wreck and ended with a 3.4 KD, T Bagging that guy several time. I got the last laugh :) Hate mail is part of the game. Block and report them if it gets to be too much for u.

Are you in the team chat channel? I [i][b]NEVER[/b][/i] go on there with random players. I only chat/party with an actual friend/group of friends. I have never gotten hate mail. People have a lot of guts...when they are anonymous.

You should set your profile to private so only friends can see it. I would if I was you maybe change your pic and name on the PS network. I know it's a shame but it's the world we live in. All the pervs out there who can't get a woman in real life I mean look at all the post of the nerds about the Queen in the reef.

You could make your profile visible to friends only and I think that would prevent you from getting messages from strangers, which kinda makes it hard to make new friends... You can also use the PSN reporting process if you think the comments are of a nature that you consider such escalation of the matter to be warranted... People can be very cruel and many of the people playing this game are literally uneducated, ill-mannered, unsupervised children that will not understand respect and/or discipline until they complete their first couple of prison sentences later in life!
