I get what you're feeling completely and have felt the same way. First step is to recognize that Destiny really and truly is designed to manipulate your brain's pleasure/reward triggers to keep you playing (that's why the RNG and gated content are so absurdly grindy). Gamespot has a very insightful video (search for "Destiny: the Hardcore Gamer's Slot Machine") on Youtube. (Edit: video is now embedded/linked, above.)
Second, just delete or get rid of the game--quit cold turkey. It's a game and it's not worth it if it's interfering with real life. I agree with the other commentors who suggest a new hobby (something productive or healthy if you can manage), but if you do pick up another game I recommend you avoid anything that is always-online (can't pause it).
Best of luck to you.

Thanks man. It's been roughly two weeks now since i've touched Destiny. I've been picking up more shifts at my jobs to get my mind off of it. I've also been spending more free time excersizing and being social at my local pool. Honestly, my mind hasn't felt this clear in months. I'm glad I let go of Destiny. I had some fun times, but it's time I leave that frustrating slot machine behind me.
