Seriously, if you got carried in trials, you should not be wearing the emblem, ever wonder why top players don't wear it, because they don't want to be associated with scrubs like you.
Everytime I get into a trials game against a team of 3wearing the emblem, they get smoked.
Here is the official ruling, if you have under a 1.5 kd in trials, YOU CANNOT WEAR THE EMBLEM. Make it happen Bungie

I'm going to find someone that has gone flawless. I'm going to start to befriend them and nurture the relationship for a few weeks until I can invite him or her to my house for dinner. During dinner I'll casually mention destiny and how I want nothing more than to go flawless. He will say "oh I've been flawless every week". At this point I'll have to act slightly surprised. I will then continue to praise him and tall about how that's so impressive. After dinner I turn on destiny and start playing. I'm going to need to really try hard to do worse than I already do. After a few failed attempts at ToO I'll ask him if he wants a turn. At which point he will gladly jump on, especially to get me to stop playing. He'll start winning and doing great and I'll encourage him to keep going. He will get the flawless emblem for me. At this point I'm going to take a picture of my warlock wearing the emblem. I will also take a picture of my abysmal. 5 kd and send them both to Mrs pp every week at the start of trials until destiny dies.

Who gives a shit if they got carried? I like carrying people. Their reactions when they get the chest loot are fun. Oh and kill a dragon with a wooden ladle in Dark Souls 2, then we'll talk, scrub.

Go flawless with a mida and we'll talk.

So why do you feel entitled to players not allowing to show that they've done something remarkable, Carry or not it's downright disrespectful to say that players who don't do well in the crucible aren't allowed to wear an emblem. If you wanna whine and complain go ahead don't ruin someone else's good time by being a salty player, you're massively overestimating your importance. ps. Some of the top destiny players don't have a 1.5 KD so get it right before you complain about a cosmetic difference in a VIDEO GAME

I can do well if I actually try. I normally dick around with my hard light or Suros for fun. If I want to get a good k/d I would use my multi tool more often. I will wear my emblems as I earned them after trying for hours to not find a bunch of assholes using thorn and blink shotgunning. If you need a crutch to play, don't play at all.
-
The posts just get dumber and dumber everyday. I dont know how some of you even remember to breathe everyday. Top players put on whatever they feel like same with scrubs you can only be associated with a scrub if you yourself are a scrub as well.

If I may, I'll insert my two-cents. 1) Why are you making this post? 2) Don't fix something that isn't broken. 3) If you're going to post something like this, being a dick removes 100% of potentially logical arguments. 1) So Bungie has inadvertently created a system to where we know if someone will give us a fight or not, and you want to mess that up? If my team and I see three flawless emblems on the other team, we immediately assume that they've been to the lighthouse less than 7 times because they haven't gotten over the high of the lighthouse, AKA they won't be too hard to beat. What you're suggesting would remove an easy way to generalize the enemy's skill level. 2) Pretty much summed it up in 1). 3) Seeing that you put the specific number of 1.5K/D, I would assume you have somewhere around a 1.6-1.7? I haven't checked yet. What I'm trying to say is, what if I came to the forums and said that I wanted the K/D minimum to be 1.9 (My Warlock has a 2.0)? You would think that I'm an entitled blambag, just here to cry about your precious emblem being tainted. The worst part is, I mostly agree with you. Nothing is sacred in this game anymore besides the Beta emblems. But I don't want anything to make it worse, and that's often the route taken by Bungie when things go wrong.

You're an idiot if you're trying to restrict what people can and cannot do.
-
I think I'm goong to get someone to carry me so I can wear it just to bug the shit out of you
-
I can beat you...dhfq aint shit
-
I wear it because I can and I don't care what a nobody on the internet says
-
This guy sounds like a whole bunch of fun

Should anyone who's been carried through Crota to get that emblem or PoE not be allowed to use them as well? My KD isn't fantastic but I've gone flawless because I have some really good games. You can't judge wether someone is trash or not based off of one game they play and you can't set some standard of "if they can't beat me, they don't deserve that emblem." I really hope that the emblem some people use in a video game doesn't bother you as much as it seems to.
-
Lol dh you read my mind. I went around asking people, 85% of the people who wear the emblem got carried through and haven't been since
-
Don't get me wrong, I understand where you are coming from here. The emblem should have a certain value attached to it. (Before I continue, if you were wondering about my stats, then I have a 1.2, 1.1, and somewhere around a 1 on my Titan, Warlock, and Hunter respectively. Keep reading if you wish.) The problem with that idea, and this is my opinion, that after that happens, anyone who is new to Trials and goes flawless and doesn't get the emblem because of KDR will probably feel a little cheated out of an end game activity. That's my opinion, I respect yours, and hopefully you will respect mine.
