I am sure i am not the only person playing Destiny who has a problem with POE 35. In the past when players competed it they managed to do so with the Solar burn and got a completion for Skolas Triumph. Since changing it to no Burn it has been difficult and people have given up, even been put off Destiny.
I would like to ask that the community consider adding your comments in a hope that Bungie return the Solar burn and stop making all these changes complication the game and making it off putting.

Why cos everyone has gjallarhorn now? It easier without the burn
-
No!!!!

It's good the way it is

No!!!!

You realise the reason for bullet sponges is partially due to your weapons doing 3x damage.
-
Why cause everyone has ghally? Lol you wined about not having one got it nerfed and burns taken from Skolas now wine about putting it back on. Smh!
-
With no check points, I wanna be in and out. Otherwise, I've done it once and don't care enough to do it again. Poe is lame, and poe 35 isn't nearly worth the time.
-
Honestly I would say yes put it back but add some other form of mechanic to keep it difficult even if it's a case of tripling his life simply because it shouldn't be that easy to kill one of the hardest events in game however on the flip side look how hard nightfalls are "supposed to be" aptly named the hardest content for a log time in destinys vanilla stage sometimes harder than the vault pre and DLC however it should be noted that all burns can fall within that so I think it was a ditch effort because it was made to easy to beat and bungie didn't know how to fix that quickly without compromising the mechanics so they quick fixed it by killing the burns

Edited by Nkarii: 7/31/2015 7:04:58 PMThe hardest challenge in the game should NOT be able to be completed in 45 seconds. That's why they removed solar burn and burns in general. For once, I agree with Bungie. I ran it legit a few weeks ago for the first time and I must say I had a very strong sense of achievement upon completion. Yes it's difficult. Yes it's time consuming. That doesn't mean it's not doable. Find a good team, coordinate with them, communicate with them, and be patient. You can't rush the fight. I suggest looking up guides on how to balance Skolas's health and the enemies. It really helped my group. Good luck!

I have cleared skolas every time I could do it since he launched. Solar, arc, void, lightswitch, etc...
I hate to say it but get a good team and get good.
-
Lol why are u so salty about being bad, you need a good team, dumping ghorn at him so u can burn him isn't fun, once you learn to play the game you'll be able to do it, so shut up and learn to play the game, don't complain because you suck
-
-blam!- all u pricks who insulted and thanks to those with constructive criticism
-
Absolutely disagree
-
The removal of Solar burn didn't "complicate" it, it made it so that you actually had to play the arena the way it was intended to, not burn Skolas in 40 seconds with 3 Gjallarhorns.
-
Why? So you can use your precious gally one last time before its nerfed? Ha I don't think so. Git gud
-
Its not even difficult, you are bad if you need any kind of burns in skolas, skolas is the only pve challenge.
-
I couldn't attempt skolas before the change since I didn't have a gally at the time and wasn't allowed into a lobby. Since the change to PoE 35 I've beaten him many times and it really isn't that hard. Not every boss needs to be spammed to death.
-
That's what makes it a challenge and makes the player use something different other than galley all the time!!!stop complaining!!
-
trolling
-
Put arc or void burn on instead lol
-
Why not just replace the entire activity with a treasure chest? Then no-one would have the uncomfortable experience of having to use skill, technique or teamwork, nor would they have to play a game they obviously don't enjoy.
-
No, he's fine as it is as you now have to play the mechanics and just can't burn him down. It's meant to be a challenge and not just a who pulls the Gjallarhorn trigger the fastest competition. With brawler and juggler as modifier turned on he's easy when you have a team that can communicate.

Its takes a little bit its not hard bro.
