No, the word wolf is used way to much for the reasoning to be "they're attached".
You wouldn't say some one uses the name ninjas or death in their name because they have an attraction to those two things. If people only used the word wolf because they were attached to them, you wouldn't see them as much.
And yes, I do like my name.

But people [i]are[/i] attached to them, whether it happens to be fantasy, or an actual experience. But usually it just sounds cool. And who doesn't think wolves are cool?
