This post makes zero sense. If the total damage from gally is lowered, it makes it closer to the damage output of other rockets. The delta between them will now be much lower and the need/desire to have someone with it will go down because it isn't as overpowered. The only elitism it will create is because of people who think they actually NEED it for anything in PVE anyways.

Well I see idiots demanding gally for Vog, and then I see them blow themselves up on both Templar and Atheon.if anything gally makes Atheon harder since he starts dancing around
-
BLackhammer is best weapon for atheon!

BH is getting Nerfed into the ground also. Fckn whiners caused all of this

To those who think this post makes sense, your struggle with basic math is real. The time to kill a boss will go up and get closer to the time to kill of other rockets. Because the gap is smaller, the need for gally is lessened. If it took 5 mins to kill a boss with 3 gally and 10 mins with 3 hungers and after nerf it is 8 mins with 3 gally and 10 mins still with 3 hungers. People are less likely to care if you have gally because it only saves them 2 minutes now instead of 5. Yes the TTK is still lower with 3 gally. But the desire for you to have it will go down because it doesn't gain you as much as it did before.
-
Yeah but the people who needed the gally in the first place need to save the 2 min because they can stay alive 2 extra min.
-
Haha, well played
-
Also makes sense. But how many people do you know that can think so rationally? People always want the easy way out, which is Gjally ;-)
-
Makes sense to me
-
Unfortunately people are that dumb. I joined a squeeker on LFG for a nightfall once that insisted i have gjally for a VOIB BURN Nightfall strike. Needless to say i kicked myself from that fireteam lol
-
The post makes perfect sense there will still be a gap and human nature being as it is, people will want it done as quick as possible. This requiring more potential fireteam members to have it. Elitism maintained.
-
The ghorn will still be elite and the better choice, however the post says the nerf will lead to more elitism which is false. If the amount of dmg it does goes down, it will become less powerful and less of a need.

Edited by ScotchEggsRules: 7/27/2015 11:44:12 AMThat's an assumption from you, it may mean more people in a team must have it due to the lower damage. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Another reason the g horn is so popular is because of the wolf pack rounds that always hit. There is no other launcher that can guarantee extra hits. Bungie needed to buff the accuracy of the cluster bombs or the impact damage of those other launchers. Again they have no clue what they are doing they are steering us into a cliff I'm done with this game.
