I can see your point but try convincing people you're keeping tabs on them for their benefit. (Not exactly what you said but I'm already seeing it get spun into some horror story by your political opponents)

I do see the backlash to openly admitting to tracking, but hopefully everyone realizes they are already being tracked/categorized/logged already be it credit cards, phone bills, taxes, employment records, rental/lease agreements. I could hopefully spin it as a more secure version of the social security card(which in a fashion it is) that has added functions to lessen identity theft (a hot ticket item).
