Yes you did.....and? People grinded for their gear in Wow, Diablo, and SWTOR but when the next expansion came out you still had to move on to the newest gear. Just because you grinded for something does not mean you get to demand that it be useful forever and ever and ever. This is a 10 year game supposedly which means we are gonna see ALOT of stuff come and go. Just like in every other expansion based game out there you will have to move on to the latest and greatest. TDB did it and HoW did it. Yes HoW gave you Etheric light, but you still had to put down your old gear in order to be able to do the endgame content in order to ascend your old gear. So even then you were forced to use new things. Its how expansions work.
