You can still counter it, or just use its start up time to run and revive your teammates.

It does that, you aren't alone. But that doesn't mean you can't think on your feet, and make the best of the situation. Run or fight the fire Jesus, it's your choice. If you do want to fight it, counter with a Super or shotgun him before he gets ready.
