if TTK turns out to be a sub-standard DLC, with as much money as i have spent on this game, (as i'm sure everybody else has.) then yes. i believe it would totally be worth dropping the controller for good. but "overhyped" might not be the best word to use. hype is just your opinion... you can hype up the DLC in your own head if you're that excited about it, and then when it shows up you'll be disappointed. if you're already bored of the new house of wolves content maybe destiny isn't the game for you. house of wolves has amazing replay value, between the prison of elders, the trials of osiris, and the L28 dragon playlist? i mean you shouldn't have any problem finding plenty of stuff to do. but i know how you feel- i too am already considering the thought of quitting destiny... i've been stiffed by the "RNG" in this game so many times i should start charging money. people say "put in the time & you'll find it" and to this i say "BULL!" i've played ALL day EVERY day since the day i BOUGHT destiny! shoot! im playing destiny RIGHT NOW! if i could spend twenty dollars and buy a gjallarhorn- i would do it- just to save myself the flipping headaches. honestly, i swear outright, if i don't find a Gjallarhorn within the next month before TTK comes out, and i miss my ONE AND ONLY CHANCE to get the year 1 emblem- because nobody wants to help me fight skolas- because i don't have a gjally...? then i'm just going to quit destiny. bungie says they are proud of their community but i cant find a single person to help me... not to mention any time i help somebody else- like with nightfall or prison of elders, THEY get MY gjallarhorn. not just "A" gjallarhorn... but "MY" gjallarhorn. everytime i get the most kills, the game wants to give away a gjally, but it never gives it to me even though i'm the one who earned it and rightfully deserves it. bungie if you read this you know what im talking about. stop giving away gjallarhorns to people who play terribly and can barely scrape together 25 kills in a nightfall. it makes me want to bash my ps3 into tiny pieces using my controller.

The gally is not the end all be all especially in skolas's considering when they still had the burns on him when it was solar burn the "must have gally" burn it was far more esiaer to have 2 with gally and a good snipe with solar cause the snipe would stagger him where the gally wouldn't if u can't find people to help with skolas then I will help if u are ps4 me and my clan help a lot of people out just listen and go with our strategy that has proven itself to work just send me a message name is the same as here

I um.... finally beat skolas... i still do not have a gjallarhorn O_O' but between the three of us we did have 1 gjallarhorn, 1 hunger of crota, and 1 tomorrow's answer. all 365 dmg. sooooo.... i guess i dont need help killing skolas any longer. but to anybody who's trying to kill skolas without at least ONE gjallarhorn...? well good luck to that sorry sap... i honestly dont think its possible for even an above average player. (and i'd like to think that i am slightly above average) yet it took us literally all morning and all afternoon. we could've done like 3 full length VoG-H raids in that ammount of time... Fallen weapons are simply over-powered. also if an enemy doesnt have a proper melee weapon (ex; vandals with wire rifles instead of daggers) then they shouldn't be allowed to do full damage when using a melee attack. whether its lightswitch or No lightswitch- it shoudln't matter. no bladed weapon should = less damage upon a melee strike.

Before I had a gally nobody would help me with Skolas too. It's ridiculous. Within the past month I received a gally from nightfall, and my brother got a gally from nightfall. So my best advice is run nightfall on three characters every week.

i do. i get over a hundred kills everytime- almost 200 sometimes. i always get legendary engrams or exotic armor- i'm not lying i have every piece of exotic armor in the GAME except for those green hunter radiant dance machines. the only time ive seen gjally drop in nightfall was like 2 months ago and it was omnigul + arcburn & lightswitch. i did it with two of my friends. the friend who got about the same number of kills as me (around 150) found a legendary heavy weapon just like i did. my loser friend who only got 27 kills? gjally. "RNG?" yeah.... Really Noob Gamer. wtf kind of reward system is that? that was two months ago... big deal right? well here's something that happened LITERALLY LAST NIGHT! i heard there was a small chance of gjally dropping from 28 prisons of elders so i used 5 treasure keys back to back in the prison of elders and right after i used the 5th key a random guy on my friends list asks me to do it one more time... right? he said he needed 1 strange coin- so he could buy patience and time from Xur. no biggy- so i go get a queen bounty and complete it for a 6th key... right? i do prison of elders with this random guy and carry him because... surprise? he sucks... and when we get to the end i waste my treasure key just to find out 30 seconds later in a PSN message that bungie gave him a gjallarhorn. MY GJALLARHORN! i accidentally woke up my family because i was cursing out bungie's "RNG" at 4 in the morning.... needless to say i deleted that random....

Lmao that sucks. Hey, this is probably irrelevant but when I got my gally from nightfall I did it solo. When my brother got his we did it together but I had already gotten my reward on that character the day before. It's probably coincidence but maybe there's a link between 1 reward nightfall and the Gallarjhorn lol.
