Won't the Gjally nerf backfire?

Now with Gjally's wolfpack rounds getting nerfed and its effectivity reduced. I've thought about something: won't most people want even more people with a gjally after the nerf? Before, few people would accept others without it because they already had enough firepower to deal with the objective. After the nerf have been applied, I believe the it will only promote even more elitism amongst the already toxicated player base. Everytime I visit the LFG forums a lot of the post contain a "must have gjally" requirement. By nerfing the wolfpack rounds, people will feel the need to only accept gjallys to accumulate for the nerf introduced, thus resulting a backfire to this nerf's original intent. To eliminate exclusivity. Any thoughts? Edit 1: To admit, I've never owned a Gjally before and I've played since day one. I have already had much trouble trying to get into a raid or PoE team. Edit 2: Better formulated the op.

You mean leave the problem as it is? Let's take a look; "Solution" 1; Let Xur sell Gally So make the game even more easier by giving everybody a nuke, destroying any challenge Destiny can provide in the future, making the game stale and boring when there is ALWAYS one answer to bosses? NO. "Solution" 2; Don't nerf Gally Leaving the problem as it is? That it's a bragging tool, and an excuse to breed exclusivity to a social game? Alienating newer players who aren't lucky with RNG from basic experiences like raids or even nightfalls? NO. Gally will always be an undeniable exotic, for both its looks and function. Sadly, it's been overused as an excuse to divide the community AND to devolve unique and challenging challenges, into "JUST MELT HIM". Any self respecting person who plays a game, not to just beat it, but beat it AND have fun, would welcome a challenge instead of taking the easy way out. Therefore, in the next update, there won't be such an easy way out.
