What difficult did/will you choose? I chose story and sword.
Edit: Story and sword was way too difficult, now I'm on just the story!
-
I don't feel accomplished when i beat a game not on it's hardest difficulty
-
Day one, chose blood and broken bones. They recommended before release that you choose one difficulty higher than normal. I only played a bit of Witcher 2 so I chose that. Now that I have more Witcher experience from beating 3, I'm going straight for death march! I love the ending I got on my first playthrough! It was misleading at first, but then it was awesome.
-
Played through on Death March but i'm going to have another playthrough on Blood and Broken Bones for a mess around once all the free DLC has dropped.
-
Can you guys enlighten me in what those difficulties mean? It would help a lot
-
Went with blood and broken bones but its really easy so I think I'm going to crank it up.
-
I chose death March the game is easy but the combat is terrible and clunky. Same with the ai just awful.
-
Story and sword. Hard at first but it gets easier when you learn the mechanics and aren't 2 levels below what you're fighting (I was in the begining) Did some sidequests, got better gear and learned the controls. Now it's easy (but you can still die easily if you aren't prepared) I'd never played a witcher game so wasn't sure what to expect in terms of difficulty.
-
I did story and sword, I kinda wish I went higher up cause it wasn't that difficult at all.
-
Level 47 on ps4 300+ hours and platinum trophy. Best game I have ever played. Been away from destiny for a few months
-
Which one is needed for the platinum? Probably the hardest one, is it like impossible for newcomers?

Edited by BeanTwenty3: 7/26/2015 1:29:22 PMDeathmarch for myself haven't had much trouble so far but im using all the mechanics I can imagine on lower difficulties I'd just swing sword and dodge
-
I chose Blood and Broken bones which turned out to be way too easy. I should have gone with Death March.
-
Story and Sword. Feel like playing Death March on my second playthrough.
-
Blood and Broken Bones, was difficult at the start, but now many many hours later (lvl21) not so much. Don´t want to change it now to death march, cos other games waiting, and this game takes so goddamn long :D
-
Edited by Sun: 7/26/2015 4:51:55 AMDeathmarch, cause then alchemy becomes useful, and you're kinda forced into patient fights that involve dodging, countering, back stabbing, and using signs/potions repeatedly. Playing on anything but Deathmarch, to me, gives you a somewhat lackluster feel for the fights, as you can just button mash.
-
I think I want to change to death march
-
What!?!? How the hell is story and sword too hard?! I played on that difficulty and it was extremely easy. I wish I would have played it on a higher difficulty.
-
I dont remember which difficulty i did but im pretty sure i did death march
-
Deathmarch. Blood for the blood god.
-
B&BB, I heard DM was just hp sponges, and I get enough of that from Destiny.
-
I played on Blood and Broken Bones for my first playthrough, and on Death March for my second. I can't imagine playing on anything other than Death March now.
-
Edited by thefourfoldroot: 7/26/2015 10:57:58 AMDeath march. It's not hard. But tricky the first few levels and have to be cautious but once you can choose your skills axii and quen make it easy
-
Death March gets a lot easier as you go on, but still makes you want to exploit all the combat mechanics the game has to offer while requiring a bit of finesse.
-
Death march is the only way to play.
-
Story and sword.. I don't really play RPGs because I want them to be challenging
-
I started on Sword and Story, switched to Deathmarch at level 20.
