Experimental, bordering on irresponsible
Powered by barely understood technology
A fusion of the mad scientist and product engineer of the new frontier
Hallmark is the liquid ammo displays and Omolon power cells
Omolon is the future returned
Omolon is a futuristic based foundry with a black and blue design, it is also experimental.
Let's see what thunderlord has
A black and blue design
A futuristic looking gun
(I mean come on there is lightning coming out of it, is that not futuristic enough for you)
And it has lightning coming out of the gun, and also has the chance of firefly activating, that would be experimental in my books.
Only thing it does not have (design base) is it doesn't have that sleek hardlight look, as the rest of the Omolon weapons excuse that and this might actually be true
Constructive Criticism Would Be Welcomed
Edit:I Know Hardlight is an Omolon exotic
-
Fun fact: Thunderlord was supposedly wielded by Saint-14.
-
It would have the Omolom logo in the bottom right. Suros regime for example has the suros logo in the bottom corner
-
Dumb question but does anyone know what the Monte Carlo is?
-
Only omolon exotics are hardlight and suros regime :)
-
It would say Omolon under the gun model like Hard Light if it was an Omolon weapon
-
It looks a bit more Hakka than omolon
-
The design looks hakke
-
The style of Thunderlord doesn't look very Omolon-ish.
-
Omolon uses liquid ammo, as seen for all the new guns and hardlight but the thunderlord uses regular bullets. I don't think I've seen an omolon hmg yet so I can't compare design to anything yet.
-
I got my year 2 thunderlord yesterday from a legendary lol its better than old thunderlord, faster reload and way more bullets

Edited by hexxem: 8/24/2015 12:08:22 PMCan you please go back & correct everything grammatically - I can't take you seriously. ~ Vykings
-
Also it has little green lights all over it
-
I think the thunderlord is a vanguard designed weapon, like the icebreaker.
-
It's not an omolon exotic. It doesn't have the logo or the smooth design. t also doesn't shoot energy.
-
It's a vanguard exotic it has the same symbols that all machine guns use and ice breaker the two triangles
-
Does it shoot energy? No
-
I can see how, it almost does, but Omolon weapons have liquid Ammo and shoot energy, similar to hard light, or its superheated plastic or energy.
-
It's not. Just because it has the color scheme doesn't mean it's made by them. All Omolon weapons look very distinct with liquid ammo. Thunderlord looks no different from the standard MG, minus the Lightning of course. Also, it shoots regular bullets.

-
No, all Omolon weapons fire Superheated Plasma or Ionized Polymer, very similar to Hard Light, this is why the liquid ammo display is on all their guns. Thunder Lord fires bullets and does NOT have a liquid ammo display.

Necrobump troll
-
IMO it looks like somebody took a häkke LMG and left it out in a thunderstorm
-
How does Lightning = Future ? Typically futuristic themes are more about sleek lines and compact, efficient design. Lightning is more often considered Mad Science, or man playing god - since lightning is considered a "tool" of the gods.
-
That's not how this works, that's not how any of this works
-
No it isn't. Hard Light is. Thunderlord looks nothing like Omolon. Basically all Exotics are "experimental and barely understood". I realize that FWC's weapons are going to be made by Omolon, but not yet. Thunderlord is unique and wasn't made by a manufacturer.
-
Sorry but I'm going to have to disagree. All of the omolon weapons shot a liquid substance, but with thunderlord you can clearly see bullets. The weapon shares similarities in design, However it is not an omolon weapon
