Single Question about the Community Wish List (Vault Space)
In the community wish list, It says this:

And two of the items listed are:

My question is this:

Bungie - I'm thrilled that the vault space was increased again, thank you! But seriously... how hard is it to respond to our specific threads and say, Hey, it's coming... The silence from you is exactly why it became "cool to hate Destiny".

Bungie, will you please give us some useful information abou the vault space? It seems to me like you're having too much trouble increasing the vault, so instead you're just going to force everyone to delete everything from year 1 and start over. Becuase that's easier. Honestly, I don't think that's the best move. But with total silence from you on the matter, I'm left scratching my head wondering WHY you're doing what you're doing... Why can't you increase the vault space? And don't blame last gen. Seems to me that adding multiple screens would appease last gen issues. But then, I'm still in the dark. I don't know if I'm right, becuase you're not talking. Talk to us. What's up with the vault?

31 RepliesSo the issue with more Vault space is memory restrictions on the previous gen consoles. (PS3 and XBox 360) If anyone remembers the first vault upgrade that bungie did, they said they had to remove a few features for the PS3 and more prominently the XBox 360, which has even less memory than the PS3, in order for the extended vault. In order to even further expand vault space, they would have three options. 1: Remove update support for previous gen consoles, obviously unfair. 2: Further restrict features in the previous gen vaults, maybe only allowing thumbnail images to be seen, more fair but still difficult. 3: Wait for Destiny 2 or another update which won't be comparable with previous gen consoles to be released and put the vault patch in there, most fair option because it doesn't limit anyone's gameplay. Obviously every option has a limitation and it is difficult to keep everyone happy. If I missed an idea feel free to share so maybe we can get Bungies attention. TL;DR: Previous Generation consoles prevent vault updates (among other things) due to memory restraints.

5 RepliesWhy do you all need so much vault space? What the hell are you putting in your vaults? There's hardly any shit worth keeping besides exotics and some legendaries. That shouldn't fill your vault. I carry all the exotics n shit that I use with me and leave the rest. That hardly fills 1/3 of my vault. So idea what the -blam!- you guys are doing

3 RepliesIts been done already, they added extra vault space, and they had to disable weapon comparing on last-gen to do it, unless they're doing a major rework of how the system works with the taken king, there's more than likely not gonna be any additional space until Destiny 2.

I think bungie's statement on this is that they only want you to be keeping a few select weapons at a time and to dismantle weapons when you move onto new ones, which is of course total -Blam!-.
