[b]Before everyone rages on me, read this post through and hear me out!

1. I'm sure everyone has read the Update 2.0 and went through all the weapon tuning. But this is the atom bomb of the group. Bungie is planning to nerf Destiny’s holy grail and savior aka Gjallarhorn. I'm happy they're doing that. NOT because I don't have one and I'm bitter, but because one weapon was not meant to dominate a game to such a degree, and this is only a problem among the community because Bungie waited so long to do it. If they’d nerfed it back months ago before it became the game’s lord and savior, it wouldn’t have been a problem. But by allowing it to run rampant for so long, everyone who has collected their Gjallarhorn in the meantime now feels let down. The actual nerf is some unspecified reduction in Wolfpack Round damage, and while the community is more than a little mad about this, you have to take a step back and realize that you cannot simply allow a weapon to exist that is 200% better than anything else in the game. You have to step in at some point, and though they did so way too late, it has to be done.
2. People that have Gjallarhorns really do depend on it. Every time I'm on LFG, I see multiple posts that claim, "Must have Gally" . People get into this mindset where they think you need a gally to be able to beat anything. I don't need a gally for the Nightfall, my "poor mans gally" aka Hunger will do just fine. But as this dependency creates chaos when Bungie says they're going to nerf it.
3. Think back and look at games such as Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Battlefield, etc. They all had those certain weapons that were good, but not 1 weapon that was so good, other guns in that class became irrelevant. WE NEED THIS NERF!
4. The nerfing of the Gjallarhorn will now make other Rocket Launchers relevant once more! For all the Gjallarhorn users, let me know what you think about this? I'm interested in hearing your opinions.
Thank you!
