Remember that Luke Smith e3 interview? (Not the controversial one, a different one on TTK)
"how do you feel about people using the same character 3 time instead of trying every class"
Luke: "this is something I want to talk about so bad because I have such a passionate opinion on it, but I just can't voice it right now".
Point is, it's painfully obvious that bungie developers dont want duplicate class characters, but also can't really stop players. So having exclusive guns is an attempt to get players to use all 3 classes. It makes perfect sense if you connect the dots.

Edited by danicusbra: 7/25/2015 3:42:58 PMGood find. I don't blame them either. There's 3 different classes and there's idiots that started the game and made 3 of the same one...I can't help but feel these are the same people that buy gun racks for their gun racks.
-
people are not idiots if they started with 3 of the same characters the grind was different back then.
-
I started the grind for most people playing today lol and I decided that it would make more sense to make one of each since my original, a titan, kept getting legendaries and exotics for warlocks and hunters..so to me, people that played from day one or before that made 3 of the same are idiots. Lol
-
yeah I got 2 warlocks and 1 titan. In my vault I have 4 extoic helmets, 3 exotic gauntlets, 2 exotic chest, and a complete dead orbit set of armor for a hunter.... I know what I have to do but I dont want to delete a warlock.... :-( lol
