My story: I drove my wife to the hospital 36 hours after Destiny Launched. I had only a little time to sink my teeth into it before we were asked by the doctors to get to the hospital ASAP. All seemed to go fairly well, but we ended up in the NICU. It was a rough start, and it was a battle in the beginning. There was nothing in the way of free time for leisure for months. I couldn't get away for hikes, athletics, or do anything outside of the house. But, thankfully, there was Destiny. It took a few months, but I finally squeezed in my first raid. I recall it was at 2 a.m. - right between two feeds. I was panicking we weren't going to finish the raid in time. (At that point my wife needed my help for every feed.) But we barely got it done (I remember a Suros, and the Vault Cloak). It was the beginning of some really amazing experiences with Destiny. Since then, I've played destiny at least once every day. It is been an essential part of my social world in this much changed season of my life. Having Destiny this year has been invaluable! I have either been working, taking care of my family, or playing Destiny. It has been an authentic pastime when I really needed one... so many good friends, so many good memories. My artwork in submitted is in link. I drew me and my two favorite teammates (my hunter is holding TLW - my first and still most cherished exotic). Thanks all for the great times. I am sure we have met in the crucible... best wishes and take care. Thanks for a brilliant year one!
