I've literally had six drop. Each of my toons has her own. RNG is RNG.
Edit - one came from a dragon strike. Lol.

No, obviously by the fact I have played the game beyond reason and can not only sympathize with the OP as well as understand programming because I do it as well, RNG can be set any way you wish to drop anything, at anytime to anyone on conditions programmed into the RNG code. Logic dictates that over 1000 of game play from OP receiving the Hawk moon that if you are getting 5 or 6 of them, you fall into a group of that determined subsequent successful drop rates for the Hawk Moon. Similar to the gally dropping at ridiculous rates for new players while others with months of grinding have yet to receive one. It's common and sense with no disrespect toward you.
