I am still at a loss for words for this.
Classes will have their own guns.
Wat.
Edit: This was created 2 months before 2.0 and was nothing speculation. I hope you all are all excited for the new class specific weapons like I am.

To encourage people to grind to get 3 different characters leveled up. This is a game of chess for bungie and they are winning while getting paid to do so.
-
Yeah, that sounds awesome! Reminds me of class items from diablo 2 <3
-
Topkek at people with three of the same class.
-
Yep. I noticed that immediately. I was like, "Class weapons? What...?"
-
Edited by Barrierr-: 7/24/2015 3:38:18 AMI thought it was interesting that they showed the weapons without a skin & then with one. I'm probably going way out on a limb here but weapon skins? Maybe? Also, do you think other foundries like Tex Mechanica will make it into TTK?
-
*wraps self in flame retardant gear* I am ready for the forums to burn.
-
It's exciting! (at least to me).

Edited by FlAgtWash: 7/24/2015 3:29:03 AMIf that happens I'm done with this shit fûck you! Been playing halo since I was 6! You were great then what happened?! Now if you mean we get our own weapons where we can still use every weapon on each class but there's 1 or 2 weapons that increase something for us then that's alright but don't screw us over
again...
DPJ or more console or someone like pointed this out before they even announced this
-
I always thought that Hunters would use hand cannons and snipers, Titans assault and rocket launchers, and warlocks were scout/pulse and machine gun
-
Seems I wasn't the only one to notice this
-
I'm all tingly.
-
I'm beginning to think it's similar to how each Faction has different styles for their guns. I don't think it's certain gun types for specific classes, I think it's certain gun models for specific classes.
-
Personally I think it just means certain guns will have perks that effect a certain class. Not that certain guns are being locked behind classes.
-
I'm feeling like a bow and some other things that seem class specific.
-
Can't wait for my Titan weapons. Hunters and warlocks... Your ok too.
-
EVERYONE FREAK OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!AAAAHHAHAHHAHAHHHHHHHHHAHHAHHAHAAHHAHAHAHHHHHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHHHAHAHAHHHAHHHAHAHHHAHAHAHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh..........oh it doesn't come out until September you say........well ahem...this is embarrassing.....uh I retract my previous statement.......I'll try it in September then comment on the game...errr sorry guys
-
So instead of grinding each week with three characters to get one gun, it'll be grinding one character each week to get one gun. Awesome.

it will be more along the line of the relic or sword. Not an actual gun...but more so an item.
-
Not every weapon will be class specific, so untwist those knickers before you hurt yourself
-
It's a ploy to make you destroy your vanilla/e1,2 gear. Making it harder for you to move around weapons between your three characters and pitiful vault space.
-
I would like stuff like this that would create more character differentiation, so you actually have to adjust your play style from character to character, or really choose what character will be best for your style. Stuff like Hunter's are quick and nimble, maybe they can reload while sprinting. Titans are super strong, less recoil on guns. Warlocks are... Warlocks... I got nothing for them, who really cares though?
-
Yeah I saw it.... sounds terrible to me, I like moving guns between classes
-
ARs THAT SHOOT LIGHTNING
-
my guess is that vanguard mentors will now sell weapons that play to their class strengths. may be only able to be equipped by that class.
