if bungie collaborated with square soft
Would we get a game with better story and story line with numerous sidequests?
Seriously final fantasy has more talent in writing story lines than game mechanics and bungie make awesome game mechanics but has not talent with story line.
These two companies should have a bastard child.
Thoughts? Ideas? Lets keep the hate to a minimum and stick with creativity. We know bungie needs it.

Wait, you mean a game with an actual in depth story, character development, potentially huge sandbox world, and an overall more satisfying sense of immersion? Activision will never allow such heresy into their franchises, and Bungie signed the contract that removed whatever balls they had left.

Only on graphics, music and the planets. Square-Soft(Enix) is my most favorite game company, but I would also want Bungie to be able to use their original story. Just a little sprinkle with what SE can do. * cough cough *

Edited by Corrick II: 7/23/2015 4:35:16 PMThe don't need to partner with an entire company, they just need to develop the exhaustive backstory they've already written into the game. It's not that they don't have a story, it's just that what made it into the final product is a fraction of the whole thing.
