It's the biggest crutch in the game heavy ammo. If they ltd those synths, no weapon changes would hardly be needed other than Thorn. Every so called elite player carries 100s of these crutches.

You can buy heavy smith for 250 glimmer and an ether seed at the outpost from poe vendor. Since you only farm glimmer from cabal... May as well use them

By definition, you could say why not all have one super nuke rocket that clears the entire level immediately, otherwise anything else is a waste of time. I play with some friends who carry like 200 heavy ammo synths and they thinks it hilarious, which it is, but don't pretend it doesn't make the game easy. I am no elite player, I play for fun, but even POE34 and raids on hard are fine for me as I can walk around with a tonne of heavy ammo synths. I really wouldn't be surprised if bungie look at this at some point. You can either agree or disagree.

I play with some people that have 1 exotic that bought the game a month ago. It's a luxury to have ammo and not have to hunt it down in the middle of a firefight meanwhile the VIP is on his way to the checkpoint or mines must be destroyed. Being prepared for anything doesn't consider you a scrub last I checked
